@gwynevere07 @Veritaserum44 By ‘it’ do you mean the female anatomy, its form, and all the parts which make the whole? Or more specifically the idea female genitalia in a sexual context? The latter makes sense to me, the former doesn’t so much

@PorcelainTroll @Veritaserum44 The female body genuinely repulses me, especially their genitalia. I'm turned off by their behavior, their mannerisms, the way they move, the way they think, the way they talk.

@Veritaserum44 A sexual disinterest in female genitalia is quite different from visceral disgust or repulse to female anatomy in and of itself. I think the typical perspective in this regard is a neutral ambivalence.

I am at best indifferent to it. I don’t find it appealing or arousal-inducing whatsoever, and I’ve long said that my brain cannot compute it. So female anatomy is repulsive to me in that if it were near me, I would immediately want to get away from it, partly out of my genuine disinterest in it, but also out of the deep respect I have for women and my wish to never objectify them and their bodies.

@TTExulansic Sounds odd but leave a few clothes that you’ve worn for a day around the house. In any moments of relative lucidity he may have, he may find comfort by smell

Many people are pointing out my desire to crossdress again is akin to an addict relapsing and they sympathize with my struggles. There’s definitely a degree of truth to this model. However, although the patterns of dopamine-driven sexual behavior does indeed resemble addiction, the analogy only goes so far because whereas the self-destructive harms of drugs and alcohol are objective and clear cut, pinpointing why crossdressing and kink is self-destructive is harder, especially when framed in the classical consent-based liberal framework of harm vs the conservative, external framework. Because there is of course the religious angle, which defines the self-destruction on transcendent moral terms. Another approach would be to talk about the dangers of engaging in risky sexual behaviors like anonymous Grindr sex, which is common with AGP, or extreme sexual behaviors that cross ethical boundaries. Another would be the risk of going down the transition route and how that can blow up your social life and family. However, whereas the benefits of sobriety from drugs and alcohol are clear cut, “sobriety” from crossdressing also brings with it tremendous internal distress because you are constantly spending mental energy fighting your desires. There is a mental cost to repression that’s not analogous to repressing the cravings to relapse on drugs. And depending on your value system, the consequences are different given that following the pathway of self-individualism and sexual expression can bring upon tremendous personal happiness whereas alcoholism is objectively destructive. GCs will talk about the harms for society with regards to safeguarding women and children (though the ultra position that all non-HSTS crossdressing is morally objectionable is extremely unworkable as a theory.) The religious conservative of course will say it’s a philosophical mistake to define personal life “success” subjectively in terms of individual happiness, and instead want to ground it in an objective transcendent moral system. But the problem is that barring a miracle from God it’s very difficult to use the spiritual practices of religion to completely suppress our desire to indulge our passions. “Just don’t sin!” is not very practical advice when it comes to something deeply embedded as sexuality. (And yes I’m aware of the fact people will bring up pedophilia at this juncture but the liberal consent framework can handle that though there are some weird edge cases; the conservative position also has unintuitive edge cases like masturbation being intrinsically wrong.) Moreover, people tell me I need the 12 step program, not realizing Trad Catholicism is basically the original 12 step program on steroids. I tried everything. But I got the sense being in Catholic circles is that everyone is constantly confessing the same sexual sins over and over and rarely actually stopping sinning altogether. So while I think conservative Christianity is more intellectually coherent than liberal Christianity, liberal Christianity (and universalism) seems actually livable because, for example, the Catholic prohibition of simply masturbating was pretty much impossible for me to actually live out, and if I am being perfectly honest, the natural law arguments always seemed a bit like extremely sophisticated post-hoc rationalizations even if there is an inner logic to the Catholic view.

You identified harm in the proactive "I don't care what GCs think" statements. You anticipated harm to your social relationships. And since this is not a classical addiction, my point in my comment was less "don't go down this path because it will harm you from the outside in" but "wanting to go down this path is a sign something may be wrong already and you may be causing harm by not attending to what this preoccupation may represent" (eg in some people, it could signal the return of an episodic mental illness).

This is Jeanne Nollman. She was born in the 1970s in New York. Her story is very typical for women with her condition: when she failed to get her period, her parents took her to the doctor. During that period of time, doctors were not always as honest as they should have been...
