I recently had the pleasure of working with @Iammartinyau - a young, ambitious content creator. Martin was having some issues with regular energy drops and a worse than ideal ability to sustain focus. It was having a negative effect on the growth of his new project that he recently went full time on - helping other content creators grow and monetize on social media. We assessed his current routines and lifestyle and were able to immediately improve his productivity and focus. Here is what he said: "As a content creator, I was dealing with a messed-up sleep routine and crashing hard every afternoon after lunch. I filled out a quick form before the call, and during the 30 minutes we dug into my routine - he came back with practical stuff like NSDR and some eating tweaks that actually made sense. Honestly, the NSDR caught me off guard the most - it's been a real game changer for getting my energy back when I'm running on empty."

close sales at 60% rate: -get a niche and be king of it -be known for one main idea (high agency) -be the one people wants to emulate -be controversial -contradict false beliefs but do it tactically -find needs to solve, evict all wants -on calls: anticipate objections before they show up -talk less than he does (20/80) -ask open-ended questions first part -never say anything bad about competitors -never think of him as less than you are -compliment on what’s not obvious -believe that you are the hero -show up w/ enthusiasm and calmness -be ++articulate (train your team to be) -talk personal stories to be relatable -show prior clients results again & again -don’t try to sell, seek to help and inspire -ask closed-questions to end on high -if money is friction, adapt (weekly payment) -create real urgency to act on the spot Did I miss anything?

A reminder for people who feel behind building online right now: Some of the biggest niche creators looked invisible for years. • Low views. • Slow growth. • Almost no engagement. But they stayed long enough to: - refine their voice - understand their audience - become clear about what they stood for The internet rewards creators who stay long enough to become recognizable.

@thegarybrecka That phone is most likely the worst thing that happened to our sleep. Leave is outside your bedroom, and turn it off 1 hours before bed

Before you sleep tonight, do just one thing differently. Leave your phone outside your bedroom. Your brain treats your phone like an unfinished task even when it is face down and silent. It keeps your nervous system in a low-level alert state all night. One change. Tonight. See if you sleep deeper and wake feeling more rested. Your bedroom should be a place your nervous system associates with rest. Start building that association now.

@timwoodcox It's a real skill learnings to distinguish between a plan and a goal. When you learn to build plans in accordance with your goals, thats when the magic happens

I'm business development. I don't build the plans. What I hear over and over is why the last one didn't work. When I'm in the room I ask the same question I'd ask an athlete in the offseason. What's the objective? Many "plans" skip that step. They start with channels and budgets and call it a plan. That's not a plan. That's a budget with dates next to it.

You could work 70-80 hours a week. Travel every other week. Eat at client dinners. Have a drink on the weekend. And still lose over 20 lbs in 90 days. As long as the plan holds through all of that. Your schedule isn't the problem. The missing system is.

How do I know if I’m going through a short phase of “overreaching” in training? My heart rate will be suppressed for 1–3 days during workouts. Today was a textbook example. I ran 10 miles (L) and rode my bike for ~70 minutes (R). Preposterously low average heart rate for an effort that would usually put me 10–20 bpm higher.

We were built for bright days and dark nights. Among 86,772 adults, more light at night was linked to higher odds of depression, anxiety, PTSD, psychosis, bipolar disorder, and self-harm. Respecting our natural rhythms is one of the lowest hanging fruits for mental health.

The best things in life, are often because you create them. The solid marriage you worked on. The career you built with sacrifice. The health you put effort into. Bad things will still come & hit you out of nowhere, but keep creating the good stuff...never let off the gas.
