I have received numerous complaints from Irate residents who are deeply distressed that no Easter celebration messaging has been erected at the David Jones Westfield Parramatta store. Yesterday afternoon I conducted a walk through of David Jones Parramatta located at Westfield Shopping Centre and could not identify any Easter messaging. The apparent segregation of the Christian community is disgraceful and should be called out. Australia is a Western Democratic country with Christianity being identified as the main religion with roughly 43.9% of the population identifying as Christian. This kind of behavior is most unacceptable and needs to be called out. I have written to David Jones asking for a response in regard to this most serious matter. It is the responsibility of community leaders and major businesses to bring people together not sow division with woke policies that exclude the majority of our community in fear of offending minority groups.
