@optum_support received an unexpected call from optum, asking me for PII. Transferred to a person also asking for PII. They can't tell me why they're calling. When the call ended they put me on hold instead of letting me do the post call survey. Is this normal?

@Optum_Support you all are really providing the worst customer service right now. Your agents don’t know the difference between trustee/trustee HSA rollovers and in-kind transfers. And I’m sure you’re holding up the process just I keep charging me fees!!!

@Optum_Support I've been attempting to open an HSA for the entire month. This happens every time. On different WiFi, on different computers, on different browsers. I've called the phone number there 4 times and each time they say "we're doing updates, try again next week"...

Dealing with @Optum_Support has been the absolute worst experience. Their teams have no idea what they are doing. They have made mistakes on my last 3 treatments causing medical issues that could have been prevented.

The site manager expedited the request but the dr put in a request for the wrong medication. I’m still unable to resolve. Blue Shield also called the Dr’s office @Optum_Support

My RX was not approved because Optum did not obtain a pre authorization. Left several messages starting on 12/5/25 through the support line and they promised Dr’s office would contact within 48 hours (some even marked as urgent). Still waiting for resolution @Optum_Support

@Optum_Support avoid Optum at all costs!!! they will deny your medication and no matter what you send they pretend like they don’t get it. I urge anyone who’s had a run in with them to report them to your state Department of insurance and Board of pharmacy.
