🔴 Some good news to start the week…. This vile creature, Nathan Bennett, has just been sentenced to 30 years in prison. The guy was turning up to work in a nursery wearing trousers with a hole in the crotch (wtf?!) and raping/sexually abusing little boys as young as TWO💔 Thank god he was caught (tho I don’t understand how he wasn’t spotted sooner🤔) and is now behind bars. He should be immediately castrated & I’d prefer he never saw the light of day again. But alas, I’m not Home Secretary. When you send your precious babies to nursery, you do so with trust. Never in your worse nightmares would you imagine anything like this would happen. I hope the families involved are as ok as possible 😔🙏🏻
Crown Prosecution Service@CPSUK

⚖️ A nursery worker has been convicted of multiple sexual offences against children aged between two and three. Nathan Bennett, aged 30, targeted children at the nursery in Bristol where he worked. Read more here orlo.uk/BQ9YP

@YstradHistory @amazingmap @DHarrisAuthor The map is wrong, the Germans held the whole of Norway up to the Lyngen line in Troms. The confusion may be related to the sparsely populated and thus occupied parts of the country. Plenty of rural places that will never have seen a German soldier throughout the occupation.

Good question? Maybe because even the RAF needs heroes? Could be for, out of hours 1700-0900 hrs and weekends? I’m sure you lot have a better answer? 😉😁😁

@MarcherReborn @VeteranIrish We always had an AD role, it'd be wrong to say it was 'lost to' more like it was simply cut, and AD within the RA has been slashed as well.

@aviationarchive About 20 years ago I knew a place where a dozen or so of these crates were still lying around up in North Norway, both wooden and metal types. Had one myself. All gone now though.

Interesting WWII footage from early April 1945 of U.S. 9th Army troops capturing a German Wurfrahmen 40 Rocket launcher(fires rockets from wooden shipping crates) and using them on retreating German forces, in the Westphalia region, near the city of Münster.🫡

Seems the Third Gulf War has likely spilled over into Norway. The explosion at the US Embassy in Oslo is deemed a targeted attack by Norwegian Police: "it is natural to view this in the context of the current security political situation." nrk.no/norge/eksplosj…

This image has appeared on FB as part of the RAF's Recruitment Campaign. However, not unsurprisingly, it's become the target for much humourous 'banter' from the retired 'erk' fraternity. Perhaps some people here might want to add a 'caption' of their own? 😉

The U.S. has perpetrated an atrocity at sea, 2,000 miles away from Iran's shores. Frigate Dena, a guest of India's Navy carrying almost 130 sailors, was struck in international waters without warning. Mark my words: The U.S. will come to bitterly regret precedent it has set.
