I'm overall against gatekeeping pro wrestling. Everyone's at a different place in their journey. There's no one path or destination. Wrestling is art and subjective. The ONLY exception, because of 25 years of a corporate engine and control over historical narratives, is Triple H.

Im not falling for the sudden "AEW fans are toxic" bs thats going around lol maybe others have a different experience than me but I find everyone has been very nice since the begining. Also been respectful of my opinions. AEW fans are super knowledgeable and funny. Sickos rule 😝

My gut says that Sammy is going to work hard for a 5* match on paper that ends up going 4* b/c he wants it too badly, when if he just leaned into being a jerk who refuses to engage with Darby and fall into his escalation trap he could put together a 3.5* on paper that goes 4.5*.

Sid’s WCW return was great in 93, but I was most excited for the preceding incident that led to it. I’d known both Fuller & Bruno had ties w/Sid in Memphis - so I was pumped Sid was coming back to WCW before he even showed up. Also, he’d be facing the “next Sid” in his return.

EXACTLY. I have digital backups of a lot of things in my collection, and I still NEVER get rid of whatever I took it from (VHS, DVD, Blu Ray, etc) for this very reason.

This is a reason why fan preservation of media is so important. I have several hours of pro wrestling, MMA, films and anime on DVDs, blu-ray discs and portable hard drives. I'm not entirely dependent on streaming networks as there's no guarantee that they will be online forever.
