There’s no world in which Mills was a bad candidate unless we’ve entered the one where 70 year olds can’t run anymore. Which obviously isn’t the case, since Bernie, Markey, etc are still fine. Mills is one of the rare politicians who has actually, literally stood up to Trump.

Like man it’s just shocking to me people are still more angry at working class swing state voters than the same people who keep pushing the same bad candidates with the same bad strategy and the same bad assumptions—and then act surprised when it fails. It’s not the voters fault!

Dems should embrace involuntary commitment for mentally ill people who commit multiple violent crimes. That would be the only thing that would actually make a difference and doesn’t seem libbed out to the average voter.
