Martin and Harris really have their fingers on the pulse of the nation.
From Tuesday night, a litre of diesel will come down in price from €2.25 per litre today to €2.15....
The pathetic shower even had to ask the EU for approval.
#FuelProtest#GetThemOut
@Viking202411@Mickbraz1 Tax on tax.
Tax on 'levies'.
If Spain can sell it for €1.50/L and their govt. can still make a few bob, then why can't we - with our €10bn budget surplus?
#Dicktakership
Micheal Martin looks and sounds shattered, can hardly even hear him audibly. He looks battered. Watching RTÉ news now on Sky 517.
Something else is happening behind the scenes, he is under real pressure
Irish Government..🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪
Simon “Wonder Boy” Harris, Ireland’s Deputy Prime Minister, is every bit as bad as pathetic Prime Minister Micheál Martin. He’s staying very quiet because he knows the gig is up. Another spineless EU stooge.
@Zero_9873
@OrexL@Zero_9873 Prefect . We need to bus them down asap . They can hang around for a few months until the spec is right . In the meantime we can welcome them in and so baby sitting duties .
@fellawrites@GovIE@MichealMartinTD When they pepper sprayed us in NTMK it was a big deal! 💨 😡😡😡
Now, they whip out the OC Spray like it's a bloody Vick's Inhaler.
The world is shocked to hear our cops aren't armed.
I'm surprised that they're allowed out with capsicum spray!
@GovIE@MichealMartinTD You beat the people of Newtownmountkennedy and you beat the people of Coolock because they stood up to your policies that NO ONE WANTS.
Now you’ve beaten farmers and children for the same.
Time to pack up and fuck off to Brussels with ye.
10 cents off petrol and diesel what an insult to people.
Deferring the rise in carbon tax til budget day is another insult.
Dissolve the Dáil and scrap the carbon tax!
‼️ Another pathetic band-aid from the Irish Government €505m "fuel support" after hauliers and farmers blocked roads in desperation over sky-high fuel costs. Extended excise duty cuts and a delayed carbon tax? Temporary crumbs while they cling to their extreme climate ideology that has Ireland with some of Europe's highest pump prices taxes already make up over half the cost.
Instead of real relief, they brand working people's protests as "illegal blockades," deploy Gardaí with pepper spray, call in the Army, and refuse proper dialogue.
This is the same government that banned new offshore oil & gas exploration in 2021, locking away Ireland's massive potential.
The Barryroe oil field off Cork alone holds an estimated 300+ million recoverable barrels potentially years of domestic supply.
Nearby prospects like Inishkea West could deliver trillions of cubic feet of gas.
Our Atlantic Margin basins Porcupine, Slyne, Rockall and more remain vastly under-explored, with yet-to-find potential estimated at 10 billion barrels of oil equivalent or more.
We should be exploiting these indigenous hydrocarbons for energy security, jobs and lower costs not importing expensive foreign even fracked gas while households and businesses bleed.
Enough of the virtue-signalling green agenda that punishes ordinary Irish families.
Lift the ban, cut taxes properly on fuel, and develop our own resources instead of temporary handouts and heavy-handed policing. Irish Fuel Protests.

@Dara176307@Zero_9873 The long closed Charlesland Gol Club would make a perfect spot! It'd be a nice handy profitable conversion for some greedy FFG developer.
Adulting is realizing;
1. You will die, and most people won’t care after a while.
2. People use you until you’re no longer useful.
3. Most people secretly want you to fail.
4. One day you’ll wish you started today.
5. Most people fake happiness while dying inside.
6. No one is coming to save you.
7. You’ll be judged no matter what you do.
8. Your health is your greatest wealth.
9. Happiness is temporary—discipline is permanent.
10. Success takes longer than you think.
11. No one respects weakness, even if they sympathize.
12. Complaining changes nothing.
13. Not everyone you love will love you back.
14. Money won’t solve all your problems—but it solves most.
15. Social media lies to you every day.
16. You’re replaceable at your job.
17. Life is unfair—get used to it.
18. One day, you’ll run out of days.
19. Regret hurts more than failure.
20. Nobody cares about your excuses. Work harder
The earlier you understand this, the better and easier your life gets.
Possible timeline:
Vote of no confidence is successful.
A 30 days election campaign.
Sinn Fein & Soc Dems government.
Country gets 10x worse.
A new right emerges.
@PeterPaulGuy True. But Foynes was high up their hitlist.
Someone posted a vid of bus loads of cops going into Thomond Park earlier, as a possible muster point.
