@CaptMarkKelly If a hedge fund manager pays a lower rate than a teacher, its because of the preexisting tax code. Though, to be fair, it also predates when you entered congress.

A hedge fund manager pays a lower tax rate than a teacher. That's not an accident — that’s this Administration handing out tax cuts to the rich at the expense of working people, all while stripping away your health care and raising your bills with a war in Iran.

@TomSteyer This is so massive, that our healthcare costs would noticeably go down. And one thing Grok didn't mention is the economic and environmental savings from far less cars destroyed prematurely from crashes.

@TomSteyer 1 million+ lives saved annually in the US, if all vehicles became autonomous? Why isn't this our number 1 goal right now?

AI shouldn't put California truckers out of work to pad Big Tech's profits. As governor, I'll reverse the DMV's autonomous trucking rules and keep human drivers on the road.politico.com/news/2026/03/0…

@RepPettersen Coloradans on SNAP: 2015: 480,000 2016: 464,000 2017: 449,000 2018: 453,000 2019: 459,000 2020: 514,000 2021: 532,000 2022: 559,000 2023: 577,000 2024: ~590,000–594,000 2025: ~600,000–613,000 I would not characterize 9000 cut as "completely dismantles".

9,000 seniors and families in Colorado are being denied access to lifesaving food benefits because of Donald Trump. But it's not just his cuts in the Farm Bill. It's not just his cuts to SNAP. It's everything — all at once— a death by a thousand cuts as Trump completely dismantles the services that people depend on to get by.

@Suzierizzo1 Well as far as I can tell, things like this has happened for the past 25 years, regardless who is president. And today, its more partisan than ever. The only thing I can say for sure is the conditions should be transparent as our regular jails/prisons. What is there to hide?

This is what a lawyer heard outside of Dilley Detention center! This is children as young as newborns screaming and crying for help because they’re being fed food with worms in it & given stinky water to drink..Most of them have gotten sick from it . How is this okay.

@KymDusek A lot of other states and cities have done this as well, regardless of party. CA has done a poor job at it, despite throwing the most money at it. The contractors made sure to do a bad job to keep the homeless population high, so that the money would keep flowing.

The health insurance industry hopes you never hear this: Medicare for All would save the average American family over $12,000 a year. Gone: monthly premiums. No premiums. No deductibles. No copays. No surprise bills. No “out-of-network” traps. No $500 ambulance bill months later. That is why they spend $150 million a year lobbying Congress.

Hey MAGAs and Trump Supporters, No Cinco de Mayo for you. Seriously, y’all need to sit this one out… No one wants to see you ICE-supporting, immigrant-slandering, landscaper-harassing fascist bootlickers in local Mexican restaurants throughout this country, cramming your faces with tortilla chips, pounding half-price margaritas, and pretending you haven’t spent the previous 364 days making life hell for the Latino community. We’re sick of your hypocrisy. johnpavlovitz.substack.com/p/hey-trump-su…

@jeremyct There are millions of people who are overflowing with cash, mostly due to the stock market and other assets. They are willing to buy these expensive houses and the property tax. That house is worth 3-6 million (depending on the state). Sell it before the next crash and retire!

@mcsquared34 - ICE recruitment is competing with other law enforcement agencies. - ICE has been demonized by social media, so there are less people willing to apply. - ICE has been trying to fill a high number of positions quickly.

J.B. Pritzker raised IL's min wage to $15 while red states cling to the $7.25 federal minimum—$14k/year, unlivable even where costs are lowest. Trump gave billionaires tax cuts while workers drowned. 50-state data proves red states exploit the poor.
