Thank you for taking the time to look into MPLADS data and for engaging with my work. I am genuinely glad that people are paying close attention—public scrutiny keeps all of us accountable and grounded. Out of the many challenges in my constituency, I consciously chose to prioritise drinking water. In large parts of Kaushambi, access to safe drinking water remains a daily struggle. Providing hand pumps was not an arbitrary decision; it was a necessity, especially because the Jal Jeevan Mission in my area has unfortunately failed on the ground. Across the country, lakhs of crores have been spent under this mission, yet in my constituency there is often not a drop of water to show for it. In such a situation, ensuring immediate access to drinking water became my first responsibility. I would also like to clarify a few points: •The reason the portal shows “0 works completed” is because the final payments have not yet been released by the administration. Completion status is updated only after this formal process, which is still pending. •Four vendors were selected because they have years of experience in the constituency, a proven track record, and have consistently delivered good-quality work. The intent was quality and reliability, not repetition for its own sake. •The official website is not fully updated. The actual MPLADS allocation is ₹7.80 crore, and details of works provided on the ground are more comprehensive than what currently appears online. Kaushambi is a largely rural constituency, and there is still a lot of work to be done—in roads, schools, health facilities, and more. Every day involves difficult choices about priorities. I assure you, I am working with full sincerity and will continue to work even harder to deliver meaningful and diverse development for my people. I warmly invite you to visit my constituency, see the realities on the ground, and interact with the people directly. Sometimes, a half story can create a misleading picture, but I hope this helps everyone understand the full situation more clearly. Feedback like this helps keep representatives like me in check. Every day is a new learning, and I sincerely thank you for raising these questions—this will only push me to do better and work harder for the people I represent.
