I know Peralta's given up way too many runs & home runs to this Pirate team, but I still can't believe our new Metsies chased Paul Skenes off the mound in the first inning! Never in a million years (almost as old as I am) would I have guessed that would happen!

I work a couple of miles from @CitiField. My commute brings me by 4 high schools and Queens College. Was so nice to see so many kids proudly wearing @Mets attire. #OpeningDay #LGM!!! 🧡💙

@TheKitchenPB It’s a ridiculous ‘rule’, encouraging very bad behavior. She said she would do it again….poor sportsmanship. Many of us submitted this rule change for 2026, but it was not altered. Can’t imagine an Olympic match being won this way. Shameful.
