@British_Airways So stuck on the ground in Heathrow due to poor weather in Innsbruck. Off to Munich at some point but how about some free snacks and hot drinks on top of the water? Also, it’s about time pressure was applied to get Innsbruck’s runway upgraded to a cat 3 ones

@bbclaurak The NHS needs a long term plan, not a 5 year one that’s decided upon by the ruling party, with decisions made by a politically independent body. Alongside this we need a serious debate about whether a fully state funded health system can actually afford modern healthcare.

@BBCHughPym Your report on tonight’s BBC news gave an unbalanced view of the situation. This is the culmination of years of below inflation pay rises by government. We can’t retain those we train in the UK and then rely on doctors who trained overseas. Nuts. #PayRestoration

@calebsubs We really need a debate about how we fund a modern healthcare service in the future. Look no further than many hospitals in the UK which are not fit for purpose anymore.

#BBCLauraK Everyone who works in healthcare knows the Independent pay review bodies such as the DDRB are anything but independent. Years of below inflation pay rises. All the nurses want is to restore pay to 2010 levels.

So the second envelope arrived. 26 years in the NHS so far. All that study, hard work, going above and beyond, CEAs, research, teaching….. and a 5 figure pension tax bill as a thank you. Will have to cut hours and find other ways to work now; this has to stop. @goldstone_tony

My pension grows faster with inflation out than by staying in where it’s not linked to the CPI. Certainly doesn’t pay me to stay so I’ll be retiring at 60 #doesntpaytostay
