This was one of my favourite conflicts in the entire manga, it showed the hypocrisy of each character and how they handled it, yukimiya is a very realistic character and brought the protagonist mindset to the story
@PrivGokuBlack@FlashFireFist_@LegendLuckster@BadGuyFromThere My point is simple, Ego never directly kick someone out, they are kicked are as a result of failure.
Even if he disagrees with you he will let the game play it’s course, smile in pleasure and then aura farm while explaining why you lost.
@FlashFireFist_@OsokoD@LegendLuckster@BadGuyFromThere Would you be mad at the phrasing he allowed Kira to get eliminated? In what way did he not allow (let) Kira to get eliminated? Did he fight for him to stay? Did he say “can we get a vote to run it back?” No. He let it happen.
Rin fans kill me man. Yall know that Isagi only got to play in the U-20 game because he was the only one who could maximize Rin’s output right? Ego didnt even look at Isagi for who he was as a player but rather Ego judged Isagi with a Rin-centric lense. Is that really favoritism?
@GRB_wael@KomolaRipOff Cristiano Ronaldo is only famous because of American iShowSpeed.. Nobody knew about him before Speed promoted him lol soccer fans and FIFA can thank USA for those followers
what i hate about this is that ego is not completely wrong BUT HE LEFT NO CHOICE!!! these teenagers HAD to choose bluelock because they wanted to play soccer and there was no other way. with his convincing speech what do you expect the boys to do? ofc they are gonna be into it.
@sol7wei@LegendLuckster@BadGuyFromThere He didn’t, Nagi failed to qualify and there was no place for him.
Ego never goes out of his way to kick you out, you lose then that mean you are out.
Nagi lost and was out that is all.
@OsokoD@LegendLuckster@BadGuyFromThere Also a generational liability
Imagine if he pulled this stunt during the finals or the knockouts
He's getting away with a slap on the wrist
@getsugafact This hesitation led to Loki jumping in, him being too late and being limited to a single option was was Isagi, before he had Barou and Shidou.
Karasu forcing Hiori to score led to Hiori doubting his ego, which was what ego was saying. We know Hiori easily fall into peopledesire
What I mean here is that, Karasu certainly contributed much more than all the other players in terms of raw results in this match, but he show his limitations
Ego said at halftime not to get into a battle of skills vs skills, and look where Karasu's last plan led
So, guys
Yesterday I told you that, in my opinion, Karasu was behind the times regarding current issues and that's not meant in a bad way, because it's consistent with his character
I'm sharing this with you in this thread ⬇️
@getsugafact I think the limitation of Karasu new mentality actually showed itself in that Hiori last action.
Hiori in front of the goal in that last action hesitated between doing what he want, follow his ego and pass or shoot, which normally would he would not consider.
