He’s asked in this clip if he’s in favor of Amendment 4, a ballot initiative in Florida that would overturn the current ban on abortions past six weeks and make abortions legal up until fetal viability. Trump here just says, “…I am gonna be voting that we need more than six weeks.” Given that he was asked a specific question about a specific ballot initiative that gives more weeks to women to access abortion care, Trump saying, “I’m gonna be voting that we need more than six weeks,” makes it not unreasonable for people to say that Trump will be voting for Amendment 4. Also, in this clip, Trump says that “everyone” wanted Roe v. Wade terminated for 52 years. That’s obviously false—a lie. A majority of Americans support abortion rights: 61% in a Pew poll in 2023.
