Once again, the far right are mobilising on the streets of London. Hate will never divide us. I am proud to represent one of the most diverse and welcoming constituencies in the world where over 180 languages are spoken. Let's stand united as a community, for hope not hate.

@narindertweets @MatthewStadlen @AntiRacismDay YOU stand with anti-west, jihadists constantly Narinder. These are the peaceful, kind, well assimilated Brits u stood agains. That makes YOU the racist intent on tearing the West & all it stands for down. No wonder anyone sensible doesn’t want a bar of it! x.com/BareReality/st…

Wouldn’t touch either of today’s marches with a barge poll. Yes to the freedom to protest. No to the spread of hate. The vast majority of Brits stand against bigotry and prejudice.

@aak1880 Shameful and wrong that the Niqab which is completely alien to our society and civilisation is brought here and used to make the majority of the populace feel intimidated and alienated.

Shameful and wrong that the niqab was used to mock and denigrate Muslim women living in the UK at Tommy Robinson’s far right march today. This is not what our forefathers fought the Nazis for.

I attended the Unite The Kingdom rally today to do interviews with participants and understand, in their own words, why they were there. While I found some of the speakers addressing the rally genuinely abhorrent, the people I spoke to were quite decidedly… not. (1/7)

Yesterday’s march in London was very significant. It exposed one of the biggest lies in British politics. By all accounts , there was no violence, no racism, no extremism. All I see in the videos are ordinary men, women, families, children, pensioners, & workers, many from different racial & ethnic backgrounds, expressing their entirely legitimate concerns about the direction of the country they love, their home. The term ‘far-right’ used to mean organised political violence, extremism, racial hatred, and a rejection of democracy. But now? As Keir Starmer, Sadiq Khan, and much of Westminster has shown, the term ‘far right’ has been expanded to such an extent it means anybody who holds views the establishment disagrees with. What happened yesterday was clearly not ‘far right’. What happened yesterday was clearly not ‘hate’. And what happened yesterday was clearly not ‘extremism’. Mainstream commentators and politicians should find the courage to stand up and say this. If you continue to casually smear millions of people as ‘far right’ then you’ll not only ensure the term no longer has any meaning at all. You’ll also only deepen the well of resentment and understandable anger that millions of people feel as they are forced to watch the destruction of their home while being also told their entirely legitimate views are illegitimate. The term ‘far right’ should only be used for genuine extremists who espouse racial hatred and want to overthrow democracy. For all those people yesterday, they should be called what they are. Patriots.

Sammy Woodhouse took advantage of speaking at the Unite the Nation rally to tell an audience of tens of thousands that I am suing her. I don't think name dropping me in between Keir Starmer and a member of the rape gangs was accidental. Nor do I believe that this event was an appropriate place for this. Her statement produced a wave of abusive posts directed at me, including explicitly racist attacks targeting my ethnic background and religion. There were also vile allegations of paedophilia. The racist abuse from strangers is of no consequence to me. What is, however, is the response from people who know my work and what was done to me for speaking out, that still chose to publicly question my integrity before I had issued a single word in response. This did more damage than the racists. As far as I am aware, I am not suing Sammy Woodhouse. I have never written to her never mind issued any legal document against her. If I were seeking financial damages from her, as would be the case for suing someone, a formal claim would have been served directly to her. Neither I, nor my lawyers, have issued any such claim. The truth is there are other things going on here. I have tried my best not to get drawn into a public disagreement. Nowhere will anyone find a single post from me in any way attacking Ms Woodhouse. Unfortunately, as a consequence of her actions at the Unite the Union rally yesterday, I have no option other than defend myself. I will share my understanding during this evening's transmission. Those who follow my work will know a few things about me. I do not lie. I bring the receipts. And I leave you to make your own minds up with an analysis of the evidence I present. Thank you to everyone who chose not to rush to judgement against me. I will see you this evening. Raja

Reflections on today. I think there were between 50,000-60,000 on the Unite the Kingdom demo, way down on last September’s event. It also felt low energy. There was a buzz about September, probably because the size of it caught people by surprise. Expectations were higher now and the event didn’t really live up to it. The banning of 11 overseas speakers had a real impact on the demo. It distracted the organisers in the final week and the calibre of those who filled their spots were poor. Last September, Elon Musk both helped build the demo and spoke. His absence was noticeable this time. More worryingly for Stephen Lennon, his supporters are beginning to see through his money making exercise. He’s admitted to receiving $300,000 from two people for the demo, plus the hundreds of thousands he raised from supporters. On top of that were all the merchandise, bucket collections etc.. He will claim millions - but he will be lying. More importantly though, and unlike last September, we have stood up to his narrative of division and hate. Britain is a better place than Lennon portrays. He failed, we are stronger than him #HOPEnothate

Front of today’s massive demonstration for Palestine. They wanted to ban us but they couldn’t. Quarter of a million of us repping the vast majority of the population who support Palestine and detest racism. ( ‘Tommy Robinson’s’ turnout was poor too.)

The bias in evidence in @BBCNews reporting on the two marches today is appalling. To describe Unite the Kingdom as "far-right" without a political label for pro-Palestinian is bad enough.

I was proud to march with hundreds of thousands in London today for Palestine and against the far-right. In the labour movement, we know an injury to one is an injury to all. And we reject the racist logic that says some lives are worth more than others ✊🇵🇸
