@JeremyVineOn5 Hubby gets bonus every Yr if his branch exceeds their targets. (Not John Lewis) They've exceeded targets every yr. Last 2 yrs, they've rec'd 50% of their bonus, 'cos rest of his region didn't meet their targets. All branches are independent of each other. How is that fair 🤬

Is it fair for the John Lewis boss to get 25% pay rise? He's received the boost as 3,300 jobs are cut. With many households still under pressure, is this a justified reward for leadership, or a sign that something’s out of balance?

Should supermarkets be allowed to charge more for in-demand items? A boss at the Bank of England believes that in the near future, stores may charge you more based on things like how busy they are and the popularity of a product. What do you make of this?

@Farha0__ I like the middle 2 dresses best, with the 2nd from left, (or left dress of the middle 2), marginally ahead due to the lace detail & clasp standing out more. BUT your Grandma looks Stunning in all of them ❤️

My 100-year-old grandma is going to her grandson’s wedding… and she can’t decide which dress to wear 😭 <3 She told me: “Let the ladies choose for me” 🥹 Now we need YOUR help… which one feels the most elegant for such a special day? 👀 Be honest, she will read every single comment ❤️

@MartinSLewis I went for equal for several reasons: 1. Will(s) may be written yrs before they die, so needs / fortunes of children may have changed dramatically in that time. 2. Unless parents discuss plans with children, it could be hurtful to be left out. (I'm female.)

Today’s Poll: If a couple had two adult children - one financially very successful and one struggling - should their Will leave their estate 50-50, or divide it more based on need? Which comes CLOSEST to your view in this hypothetical?

When you are cooking something in the oven that says ‘remove sleeve, pierce film, place on baking tray’…. do you guys just gently pierce the film once, or do you stab it frenziedly several times, as if you were some crazed knife attacker? #AskingForAFriend

@JoJoFromJerz I'm from UK & have a genuine question: Who pays the medical bills whilst this poor woman is kept 'alive' & 'if' the baby survives, who will be responsible for raising / paying for a child, that is likely to have serious health issues?

As a result of their draconian abortion law, the state of Georgia is keeping Adriana Smith, a clinically brain dead woman alive, so she can incubate a fetus that doctors believe will likely not survive once born. Her family has no say. She has no autonomy. And she has been shown no grace. Is this the world you want for your kids? Your grandkids? Yourself? Is it?

@MilaLovesJoe Yes - and if they don't say "Thank You", in a loud sarcastic voice I say "Oh, you're welcome". (Regardless of age, sex, colour, bank balance, religion, etc.) Likewise, I always say "Thank You" to bus drivers, retail workers, waiters/waitresses, etc.

@iamtomskinner @GreggsOfficial Owner of my small local PO & General Store lost over £800 in meat alone last yr. Her daughter was also assaulted whilst trying to stop a thief. Sadly Police aren't interested, even when the thief stood outside her shop eating the sandwich he'd just stolen!!!

Stood in the que at @GreggsOfficial to buy two coffees and sausage rolls whilst out working this morning. Whilst in the que 4 separate people walked in the shop, helped themselves to sandwiches, drinks, snacks the lot! None of the staff seemed to care and I thought I ain’t gonna bother getting into an argument with someone over a ham and cheese baguette. I don’t know peoples finances, but what I did notice that every single one of them had brand new trainers on and one was even sporting a Moncler coat! What’s happened to this country and why do people feel like it’s okay to just take what they want. Sad to see; hope it is not also happening to small independent bakeries across the UK aswell. Greggs you had £12 in sales from myself but you must of had £40 worth of goods stolen in that short ten minutes. Bosh❤️

@MartinSLewis Over 50 - Rarely carry a purse, unless I want to fill my car up with petrol at the pump. I now always carry some cash, (zipped up in my handbag) - ever since the day, Sainsbury's could 'only' accept cash.

Today, we lost the senior member of our pack today. A dog who i saw being mistreated as a 4 month old pup. I paid the shitbag £40 to take him, and he joined my family. An absolute gentleman of a dog with his kind and gentle nature. He reached the ripe old age of 15, not that it makes the loss of him any easier, but at least it was a life full of love. I'll miss that nudge off his cold nose when he wanted a fuss. Sleep peacefully, Norris xx

@mtjordan59 @Tesco Nope - we once had kitchen roll delivered in place of toilet roll - just the same brand. Luckily, we had enough toilet rolls. (Thankfully, it was long before people started stockpiling them during Covid!!)

Woken up to huge snow flakes falling outside, quite something to see the first snow of the coming winter. The ground is wet so I doubt it'll stick. How's it looking where you are? Ps I suppose it's perfect weather for my Christmas special tonight...
