BREAKING: LOL! A drag queen-themed parody of Turning Point USA called "Turning Point U.S. GAY” raises $25,000 for the ACLU with a hilarious mockery of MAGA figures like Erika Kirk and Melania Trump.
This one has Republicans absolutely fuming...
"I am a political queen because drag has and always will be political okay?" said performer Kiki Ball-Change, who performed in Melania drag.
The Brooklyn event was attended by several other prominent performers in the drag scene, including Lauren Banall who went on stage as a hilarious caricature of Erika Kirk named "Erika Qwerk", complete with leering blue eyes and a red blazer.
MissMa’amShe, another performer, mocked Kristi Noem's bimbo fetish husband Bryon by slipping two large balloons beneath her shirt — just like Bryon did in his now-viral photos. Other characters included parodies of Pam Bondi, Kristi Noem, Candace Owens, Nicki Minaj, Kid Rock, George Santos, and Rudy Giuliani.
Over 1,000 people attended the event and the organizers could not have chosen a better recipient for the donations. With the Trump administration working around the clock to violate our rights and destroy free speech, the work of the American Civil Liberties Union has never been more important.
"The most important thing I hold onto during these incredibly scary times is that history has shown that when the people come together, we can topple even the most oppressive regimes," Kiki Ball-Change wrote on Instagram. "The light at the end of the tunnel is hope. Hope that we will get through this together. Hope that the evil will fall, and the good will rise. Together as a community, we are stronger."
The event was also used to promote Claire Valdez's congressional campaign. Valdez is currently running for New York's 7th District as a democratic socialist. According to Ball-Change, Valdez is someone who "stands up for working class people, who will reject corporate PAC money, who wants to abolish ICE, and end unconditional aid to genocidal countries."
Please ❤️ and share to congratulate Turning Point U.S. GAY!
