I haven't seen any of my X friends post this, but I think it is important to know that Democrats have written a bill that would make online ammo purchases illegal. This is just another reason why the mid-terms are so important. #2A #2Amendment #ShallNotBeInfringed

I am outraged and disgusted to hear the reports of a death of a detainee at the Delaney Hall ICE detention facility in Newark. It shows that the abhorrent conditions immigrants are facing are not hearsay—they are real and deadly. My colleagues and I have seen these conditions with our own eyes, and we knew it would come to this if the Trump Administration did not make concerted efforts to improve conditions and access to medical care. This cruelty has no place on New Jersey’s soil. Delaney Hall cannot remain open one second longer: it must be shut down and the for-profit prison operator orchestrating the human suffering inside should lose its billion dollar contract.

@NBCNews LOL - The inexperienced teaching the inexperienced. And they wonder why a college degree is worthless these days. I wouldn't want my professor to have a teaching degree, I want my professor to have decades of success in the private sector.

I am deeply disturbed to hear of a detainee death inside Delaney Hall this weekend. My heart is with the individual's loved ones, who deserve answers about what happened. My administration is working with our Congressional delegation to gather all the facts surrounding this death. At the same time, we continue to face obstruction in our efforts to conduct a full health inspection of the facility. Every effort to block oversight raises serious questions about what is happening inside Delaney Hall and what those operating the facility are trying to hide. This tragedy is another painful reminder of why Delaney Hall should be closed. I have long opposed the use of private, for-profit prisons operating in a space that should be reserved for government. Corporations should not have the right to monetize imprisoning people while avoiding public accountability. This is why we are fighting to close Delaney Hall, and why we will continue using every tool available to stop new private detention facilities—like the proposed facility in Roxbury—from opening their doors. We will continue fighting for transparency, for justice, and for every legal tool available to protect the rights of those being held in the facility. We will not stop until the people of New Jersey get the answers they deserve.

@krassenstein Solar is a scam? No kidding? My libtard neighbor had panels installed. Looks great, but they are on the part of her roof that faces north. lol

An 84-year-old woman living on $1,300 a month was allegedly tricked into a $113,000 solar loan for panels that never produced a single watt of electricity. Now the loan is canceled, the lien is removed, her credit is being repaired and Sunlight Financial is paying $100,000. Predatory corporations count on people being too powerless to fight back. This time, they were wrong. Be careful. bennettlegal.com/sunlight-finan…

@AndyKimNJ Hey Dumbass - the tariffs are going back to the people that directly paid them - the importers. You can thank the SCOTUS for that. Why don't you lean on Amazon, Apple, Ford, GM, Nike, etc. to give it back to their customers?

If NYC deported the 500K + illegal immigrants living there, it would eliminate the housing "crisis". There would be no budget "crisis". There would be more jobs for Americans and less crime. The same could be said for large cities across the country. It is a simple, common sense solution. Why is it not done? It is simply enforcing our laws, something our leaders are sworn to do.
Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani@NYCMayor

We can't solve a housing crisis without building more housing. Today we broke ground on the Casanova Residence, which will soon be nearly 100 affordable and supportive homes with on-site services for New Yorkers. Every new home is a step toward a City that everyone can afford.

Hey Lieawatha, 3.6 BILLION people use at least one Meta app every day. And yes, they earn billions of dollars. You, on the other hand, produce NOTHING. All you do is tax the people that produce to redistribute the money to your worthless Democrat voters - with a healthy portion of that finding its way back to the DNC, of course. If Meta didn't exist, you'd get ZERO in taxes from them. After all the censoring of conservatives they did for you, you seem to be an ungrateful witch.

Meta’s tax bill: down $8 BILLION. How? Donald Trump added loophole after loophole to Democrats’ minimum tax on billion-dollar corporations. What has he done to lower your costs? Nothing.

@GovSherrillNJ Regardless of the weather, be careful when driving around the Garbage State. If an uninsured illegal alien hits your car, you are screwed. You will pay the full deductible plus enjoy the rate hikes from a crash that was no fault of your own. Thank Democrats for that.

We are anticipating thunderstorms and heavy rainfall across New Jersey through this afternoon, with the potential for flash flooding. If you're on the road, drive with caution, avoid flooded roadways, and never drive through standing water.

@PossumPolitic @NBCNews You FAIL to mention that the deal DID NOT include future potential audits. Trump and his businesses have been picked over by the weaponized IRS for many years. I'd like to see some Democrats go through the wringer and see if they come as clean as Trump.

So there will be no accountability for the leak of Trump's tax returns. Trump, his son's and the Trump organization were to get zero dollars and an apology - that's it. The 1776 fund they negotiated was to help all of the other victims of government weaponization against Trump supporters. Those are the facts. NBC News isn't going to tell you that.

If the Texas GOP doesn't want this limp wristed commie in Congress, you'd better abandon the idea of banning THC. Maybe it's the libertarian streak in me speaking, but shit like this will cause you to LOSE elections. And frankly, I don't give a shit if people want to get stoned. Plenty of y'all get wasted on alcohol and get caught DUI.
Team Talarico@TeamTalaricoHQ

.@JamesTalarico on Texas officially banning THC: “This bill is insane. Texans aren’t going to stop smoking weed and eating edibles because politicians in Austin say so. Texans will still use THC — but instead of getting it safely from a local small business, they’ll go back to getting it from the black market. From the drug cartels. This ban is a gift to the cartels. We are now telling full-grown adults how to live their lives. This is the nanny state at its worst; this is big government at its worst.  Instead of fully funding our schools, guaranteeing healthcare, or making childcare more affordable — this Legislature is focused on banning a product that gives people a little peace. We’re making people’s lives harder, not easier. I want to leave you with a quote: ‘It is time to end needless arrests and incarcerations of adults for small amounts of marijuana for personal use.’ That wasn’t a Democrat. That was President Donald Trump. To my Republican colleagues, I’m asking you to oppose the cartels, stand with President Trump, and vote no on this insane bill.”
