I stepped outside and challenged myself to stare at the sun. Honestly, I couldn’t do it, it was too bright. I couldn’t even keep my eyes fully open. It was just too bright! Then a thought hit my heart: “If the sun is this bright, and it’s millions of miles away, how bright is the One who created it?” At that point I just humbled myself immediately. Because clearly, if I can’t handle the sun, how do I want to handle God? No wonder the Bible says in 1 Timothy 6:16 that God dwells in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see. It makes perfect sense now! And then you remember Moses, after just a partial encounter with God’s glory, his face shone so brightly for days. The Israelites were like, “Sir… please cover that thing.” 😭 He literally had to wear a veil because the brightness was too much for them. So imagine the full glory of God… ah! No human being can stand that. Not even for one second. That’s why it’s so deep that God chose to come in a way we could handle. He didn’t show up in full blazing glory; instead, He came in human form through Jesus, so we could actually look at Him, talk to Him, and relate with Him without fainting on the spot. Jesus is the visible image of the invisible God, the version of God our eyes can handle without going blind. Honestly… what a marvelous, wise, and loving God. 🙌

I think it's interesting that the administration offered a UBI program, hidden behind direct HSA contributions, and no one noticed Those eligible for the $3k or so annual HSA contributions, can withdraw with a 20% penalty. That's $200 per month. Aka UBI,for anyone under the standard deduction or even paying zero taxes because of child tax credits. I never thought we would see a UBI proposal. But here we are ! I'm not a fan of the HSA contributions because too little will actually be spent on healthcare.

@_amitbehere At the company I work, only citizens gets hired and no H1B hires. Most recent hires are the worst performers in my opinion regardless of race. They are addicted to scrolling, low attention span, forgetful, lack of attention to detail, etc.

As someone who has been a software engineer for over 22 years and was on H1B for about 15, here is my observation. Almost 50% software engineers who write code have no business writing code, they are that bad, regardless of residency and visa status. It got much worse after COVID. There are plenty of low quality H1B workers out there for sure but that number is FAR EXCEEDED by much worse quality American s/w engineers (mostly white men). With Indian/Chinese/H1Bs, quality is a spectrum you have many good ones (cream from India/China), many average ones, and many below average (most bad ones from H1B consulting mills). With white men, they are either really, really good (work in top tech companies), some average and a lot many are absolute garbage. You know the ones with non tech college degrees and 6 months of a tech bootcamp. Huge majority of those are unemployable. Not their fault, they were conned. Bootcamps are a con.
