India will now pay 18% tariffs to the USA, while the USA will pay 0% tariffs to India, as per what Trump has said.
On top of that, India will have to make its purchase decisions as per the commands of the USA, even if they’re costlier.
The stock market may react positively, but this is not a win-win deal in my eyes. However, something is better than nothing.

M2 today isn’t a stable denominator.. it’s fragmented across QE, global dollar liabilities, shadow banking, and digital collateral systems.
Gold vs M2 worked when money was centralized. In a post-financialized, post-digital world, the signal may be telling us the measuring stick is breaking, not the asset.
