@SimonFoxWriter That's a shame - it's not about need or submitting to other religions; it's about showing care for a faith group that is being maligned in ways not seen since the second world war. I suspect Jesus would put such love before doctrine or tradition - he wasn't much into either.

I'm nauseated by Anglican priests who think it's right & proper to host Ramadan events in their churches. Their understanding of what Christianity is, is VERY different to my own. In my view, all we need is Jesus. We don't need other religions. Nor do we need to submit to them.

According to multiple reports and videos circulating online, today is said to be the day of this festival in the Ozoro community, and girls are wvrned not to go outside. It is alleged that any girl seen outside could be att@ck£d and r@p£d by groups of men. Foreigners who are unaware of this situation have reportedly fallen v!ctim as well. There is Delta state university in Ozoro, and many female students may not be fully aware of the d@nger. It is distvrbing that something like this could be tolerated in society.
