If all Christians have the same Bible, and the same Holy Spirit, should not Christians be able to agree? Every Church runs on Scripture, yet they refuse to find out why they differ contradictive-ly in doctrine. Get 10 Christians in a room and ask for their opinion on a biblical topic, wait for the chaos. 😂

Once you decenter religion (Christianity especially), that’s when you truly understand how powerful the christian god is depicted to be. Then you realize that humans are just wasting fruitful man hours praying tautological prayer points thinking ther god is listening

@Promythious Women don’t see the stress they put you through as an inconvenience to you, they all believe they deserve whatever stress you go through for them.

It’s posts like this that make some of us genuinely frustrated when people dismiss everything as a conspiracy, or somehow redirect credit for extraordinary human achievements to a god or some supreme being. What has been accomplished here is undeniably one of humanity’s greatest feats especially when you consider the level of physics and mathematics involved… Yet, someone sits comfortably, contributing nothing meaningful, and casually questions it without offering any well-reasoned argument... Saying something like “as far as I’m concerned” isn’t a convincing point, who exactly are you persuading with that? The sheer amount of intellectual effort behind what we’re witnessing is remarkable. It represents years of study, experimentation, and collaboration. Credit should go to the people who put in that work, it’s an incredible human achievement, and they deserve recognition for it…

I don’t really understand the maths it takes to send humans behind the Moon and bring them back safely. And the more I sit with that, the more it genuinely messes with my head even tho my love for physics and my knowledge of physics is astounding to a point Somebody had to work out a path where the Moon’s gravity is pulling you in, the Earth is pulling you back, and you’re moving just fast enough and not slow enough not to get trapped by either. They had to figure out the exact angle to come back into Earth’s atmosphere too. Too steep, you burn up. Too shallow, you bounce off and drift into space. And they had to get all of that right at the same time, for real people sitting in a small metal capsule about 400k kilometres away from home. Nothing in that system is standing still. The Moon is moving. The Earth is moving. Even the Sun is pulling on everything. And still, some people looked at all of that motion, all of that chaos, and turned it into numbers you can follow. Go here. Adjust here. Come back here. And unlike nepa light, it infact works. There’s also that moment in the journey where the crew passes behind the Moon. No contact with Earth. No signal. Just silence, with a massive rock blocking everything they’ve ever known. The only reason they can stay calm in that moment is because someone, somewhere, did the maths and proved they’ll come out the other side. I don’t know what it feels like to trust something that much. To put your life in an equation when you’re that far away from everything. But I do know this for sure, whatever that level of thinking is, whatever it takes to reach it, it might be one of the most extraordinary things human beings have ever done...

Déjà vu is basically your brain glitching its own memory system. So instead of tagging a moment as new, your brain mistakenly tags it as something that already happened. So it feels like a memory even though it isn’t. One reason this happens is a tiny delay in how your brain processes information. Part of your brain registers the moment first, then another part processes it milliseconds later. That delay can trick you into feeling like it’s a repeat. There’s also something called familiarity. Sometimes a place, smell, or situation feels similar to something you’ve experienced before but you can’t fully remember it. That “almost memory” feeling is also déjà vu. Your brain is constantly matching patterns. So if something in the present even slightly resembles a past experience, your brain might think you’ve experienced it before even when you haven’t. So déjà vu is basically your brain confusing what is happening now with what has already happened

Has anyone been able to really explain Déjà Vu and why we experience it?

The limit is 3 right now because you're young, ignorant, not very useful to women and you ain't got hoz. As you get older, hopefully accumulate resources, and gain experience, that number will naturally drop to 1 for these nonexhaustive reasons 1. Women throw themselves at 'useful' men. Sometimes, if not most times, you will not even need to ask; they will invite themselves 2. With such abundance of women at your disposal, you will become less tolerant of female BS and therefore, less minded to reinitiate unsuccessful link up requests. Not necessarily because you have resolved not to, but because you do not NEED to. Options increase standards. Scarcity lowers them 3. With accumulated experience hopefully synthesised into insight, you will also learn that with women it is a numbers game. But not a numbers game of multiple attempts with one woman; a numbers game of distribution with multiple women. To concretise that abstraction, it means that the energy expended and investment made in asking one babe for a link up thrice, will be redeployed to ask 3 babes for a link up once. Because then, unlike now, your resources and the lifestyle it affords will attract more women and that 'motion' will make them eager to sleep with you. This is, I must emphasise, assuming your are able to optimise your experiences with women and also, of course, accumulate resources. Many men get older and rich but remain clueless with women. If you end up like that, you will be 30, driving a Benz yet requesting link ups more than once with the same babe. The takeaway here is, you're not less of a man for asking three or more times. And no, its not because there's 'plenty love at home'. Even you don't believe that. The love at home will not suck your cock and moan your name midstrokes. That love serves different purposes. So drop the peer pressure induced machismo and accept your current reality: which is that right now you're young, broke and therefore your value proposition is not very compelling. So you must compromise to stand a chance of getting laid. But as you do, (and this is the crucial bit) do not lose sight of the longterm strategic goal: which is to ensure that number NATURALLY drops to 1 before you hit 30. Good luck.

if I try to link 3 times unsuccessfully, issa wrap. plenty love at home

Ask Christians why god cannot just perform some non deniable miracle we can see and record. They’ll tell you god is not a magican. But he was dividing Red Sea, sending chariots of fire and feeding 5000 people with 5loaves of bread and 2 fishes. Ever since humans invented cameras, miracle start to tire Jesus. Okay.

The day my doubt became real that god could be a fiction, I simply went on the net to get a confirmation of any miracle that had been captured on camera. This was make-or-break point for me as a truth-seeker. It is totally inconceivable that the god described in the Bible cannot perform even ONE irrefutable miracle to be captured on camera. I saw nothing. It was the last sniffing out of a dying ember. In the absence of such a low threshold of evidence, your faith just has no option but to die a natural death.

Mad how biblical god went from splitting seas, killing armies and dropping fire from the sky to doing absolutely nothing modern that can survive a camera angle, a lab test, or a hospital ward.
