I signed an Executive Order protecting Arizonans’ reproductive freedom. I will not allow extreme and out of touch politicians to get in the way of the fundamental rights of Arizonans. My Executive Order does four things to the full extent of my authority:

Damn. Listen. to. this. speech. #FreeTheTamales It's absurd that @KatieHobbs put the legislature in this position. This Bill, alongside two others, passed with a bipartisan supermajority. Yet our Executive believes she knows better than the legislature and somehow scared multiple legislators into changing their vote in order to protect her ego. A good Bill that will directly affect so many Arizonans' lives was turned into a political game by the 9th Floor. That should never, NEVER, happen. I'm not from the same political party, but @almaforarizona gets it. She's not there to serve the 9th Floor or play games for the next election. She's there to serve Maria and the rest of her constituents. I have a lot of respect for the @AZHouseDems and @AZSenateDems who are willing to stand up for the RIGHT thing to do, not the EASY thing to do.

@AriBradshawAZ @katiehobbs Does this bill include funding for in-person inspections of home kitchens? This is not about tamales. It's about deregulation & public health. Historically, Arizona has a bad track record for health inspections.
