Get ready for a milestone moment for the Fleet. ⚓️ On May 16, 2026, the @USNavy will commission the future USS Cleveland (LCS 31) in its namesake city of Cleveland, Ohio, marking the final Freedom-variant Littoral Combat Ship to join the fleet and the culmination of more than two decades of partnership between the Navy and industry. “Forge a Legacy.”  The ship’s motto pays tribute to Cleveland’s industrial roots, with a crest that reflects the strength, grit, and steel of the city it represents. As the 16th Freedom-class ship and the fourth Navy vessel to bear the name, USS Cleveland carries forward a proud heritage into the future fight. Following commissioning, USS Cleveland will be homeported in Mayport, Florida, ready to operate as a fast and agile warship. From near-shore operations to open ocean missions, LCS 31 will support forward presence, maritime security, sea control, and deterrence alongside joint, combined, manned, and unmanned forces worldwide. Peace through Strength! PAE Maritime’s International Fleet Support Program Office co-hosted the 2026 International Fleet Working Group (IFWG) with the Turkish Navy in Istanbul, Türkiye. This annual gathering of allies from around the globe focuses on working together to focus on the common goal of modernizing and sustaining allied fleets with urgency and precision.

Delivering Fleet Support Investing in our Sailors means investing in their well-being. Yesterday’s contract award to Conrad Shipyard for four new Yard Repair, Berthing and Messing (YRBM) craft reinforces the @USNavy commitment to providing modern, comfortable living and dining spaces for Sailors while their ships undergo maintenance. These platforms help sustain Fleet readiness and reflect our continued investment in the U.S. shipbuilding industrial base. With our industry partners, we're building a stronger, more prepared Navy—ready for the future of maritime operations.

Stability in shipbuilding matters! ⚓️ Yesterday, we funded @GeneralDynamics National Steel and Shipbuilding Company with $856 million for procurement of our Navy’s next Fleet Replenishment Oiler, T-AO 217. As part of the eight-ship block buy contract awarded in Sept. 2024, we have achieved significant savings while enabling accelerated production timelines. These ships are the cornerstone of our Navy’s fuel and dry cargo delivery system, and today’s action puts another ship in the pipeline for delivery! #PAEMaritime

Future USS Ted Stevens gets underway. ⚓️ Earlier today, the future USS Ted Stevens (DDG 128), an Arleigh Burke-class Flight III destroyer, departed Ingalls shipyard in Pascagoula, Miss.

As part of the program’s multi-year procurement, this action helps us realize cost and performance efficiencies across our shipbuilders and suppliers, and continue to deliver this lethal and proven platform to our warfighters! #PAEMaritime

Today we funded @GDBIW and Ingalls Shipbuilding, a Division of @WeAreHII to build the future USS Robert R. Ingram (DDG 149) and USS Ray Mabus (DDG 147), respectively.

Christening ceremony complete ✅ Today, the U.S. Navy christened USNS Solomon Atkinson (T-ATS 12), honoring a pioneering Navy SEAL and plankowner of SEAL Team One. T-ATS 12 is a multi-mission platform built to deliver critical capability to the Fleet. #Shipbuilding

Today we competitively awarded contracts to eight small business shipbuilders for the construction of 7-meter, 9-meter and 11-meter Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats (RHIBs). #USNavy #PAEMaritime
