Christmas can be the best of times, and the worst of times. It can be a really tough time for those co-parenting with an abuser who's out to cause chaos or exert control. Often they save extra cruelty for special occasions. It's also hard for those parents who's year it isn't. When you co-parent it means that half the time it's not your turn. You co-parent for the kids but the absence of your babies on Christmas morning is something difficult nonetheless. For the mums who've been harmed by the system and who haven't shared a Christmas in years, for those who've lost their children, or fighting for justice for them, or those facing their first Christmas where the future looks bleak - please know you are not alone. For the parents who's turn it is - I hope you have the best time. I know you're making everything special because you get half the chances now and every Christmas counts. I wish you all a happy and peaceful Christmas, and whatever you are doing this festive season I hope you find time to connect with loved ones and things that make you happy.

BREAKING NEWS. The family courts in England and Wales will no longer work on the correct presumption that having contact with both parents is in the best interests of a child. Instead, it will continue to and now further enable abusive alienating parents to be able to control their ex-partners and their children. False allegations of abuse are already incredibly prevalent but will no doubt soar to new heights as a result of this ridiculous decision by the government. Please join us in lobbying parliament and writing to your local MP’s to force the reconsideration of this irresponsible decision. More children are now at risk at the hands of their abusive parents and we MUST ACT! A child’s right to a loving relationship with BOTH of their parents should never be compromised.
