Drake Maye is the MVP favorite… but let’s talk context 👀 Maye has just 3 games with 3+ passing TDs this season. Matthew Stafford? 8 games with 3+ TDs. If Maye wins MVP, he’d be the first since Steve McNair (2003) to win the award with three or fewer 3-TD games.

"Drake Maye has a way better completion percentage than Stafford" Okay? Drake Maye has played the Jets, Dolphins and Bills twice who are bottom 10 defenses in DVOA. He's also played the Bengals and Titans meaning he's played 3 of the 4 of the worst defenses and got to play one of them twice.

@1standtuna You act like this is the first year in history where the QB with the most yards and TDs isn’t going to win MVP. The same exact thing happened in 2021 with Brady and Rodgers. Brady had a bad game in prime time late in the year that shifted voters. Stafford choked. Get over it.
