To some this may look unappetizing but it’s a BBQ staple unique to South Carolina. Barbecue Hash is basically a meat gravy or it could be called liquid sausage.

St. Patrick brought me some luck today! This was in a one of those huge, warehouse style bookstores. You don’t need a lot of money to build a good library- just know what you like and look diligently. $2.73🍀

I don't know what they teach in the library sciences but this obsession with obsolescence is so strange to me. You're right, my home library isn't constantly "refreshing the collection." But do you think someone who reads widely is incapable of assessing quality, age, etc?

@HannahWardEdu Can I say, as a librarian, this means nothing. I'm a librarian with access to millions of physical books and an extended digital library. As a result my home library is small. Also any general scienc book over 10 yrs is out of date and useless. This is a fake conceit.

This is honestly such a sad story and such a testament to how sans-serif fonts have totally conquered vast swaths of communication.
The part about it "looking old" and needing to be changed ASAP is just so lame.
Man has a right to beautiful fonts!

@owroot I took the Times New Roman pill: changed all my personal and work email fonts to it months ago, never looked back. Couple weeks later, my company's Director DMd me, said he had noticed the new font in my emails, complained it "looked old" and asked me to change it ASAP. SAD!
