The people of Pinal County deserve the truth. The BOS filed a lawsuit against PCAO—then tried to argue it in the media. We’re breaking our silence. We’ve filed our response. Here are the facts. The law is clear. County Attorney Brad Miller stands for what’s right—for Pinal County.

NEW: Pinal County Attorney Brad Miller has filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit brought by the BOS and Sheriff Ross Teeple, which challenges the PCAO’s agreement with ICE under 287(g).

A child predator will die in prison. Antonio Estrada-Dominguez was sentenced to 300 years for sexually abusing two victims, ages 11 and 12. 🚨In committee on Wednesday 3/18 No one should face threats or intimidation for simply doing their job. HB2811 is moving through the Arizona Legislature, and it’s straightforward, common-sense legislation. The bill strengthens protections for all law enforcement officers while still preserving First Amendment rights. Public safety and constitutional protections are not mutually exclusive. Sex abuse victims deserve to know when a court is reconsidering probation for a registered sex offender. HB 2046 closes that gap by ensuring victims are notified and given the opportunity to be heard. Basic transparency. Basic victims’ rights. When a violent felony kills an unborn child, Arizona law should recognize that loss. HB 2043 does exactly that — recognizing unborn children as victims of first-degree murder when they are killed during violent felonies and closing a gap in Arizona’s felony-murder statute. Anthony Richard Viola was sentenced to life in prison killing David Jackson and aggravated assault of Michael McKinney in Coolidge. The sentence ensures Viola will spend the rest of his life in prison with no possibility of release. “This sentence ensures this violent offender will never again threaten our communities,” said Pinal County Attorney Brad Miller. “My office remains committed to protecting the public and holding offenders fully accountable.  The defendant is now behind bars and will never see the light of day.
