@KathrynPorter26 I’m happy to state that I support green energy however it has to be joined up. All wind/solar farms should have full connections to the grid . The interconnection system is vital in achieving this. Pylons everywhere not so good. But paying not to generate is bonkers.

@afneil Does anyone else think America didn’t lead this attack. It was Israel and America just flowed. No time to evacuate embassies or have an action plan for the Strait of Hormuz.
English

That Trump started the attacks on Iran without even having the semblance of a plan to keep the Strait of Hormuz open is both a mystery and a scandal — from which he might not recover politically. Republican grandees in swing seats/states now beginning to panic, flooding White House with calls to ‘do something’ as gas [petrol] prices soar.

@sophia_artx Happy birthday young man, sorry I am late to the party but have a good one. 🤩

@7Kiwi @latimeralder The 2 problems to solve. On sunny windy summers day renewables can power the grid but nuclear and fossil fuels go bust.
Problem 2, dark windless night in the dead of winter renewables doing little while nuclear and fossil fuels keep the lights on.
Juggle the problems .

Solar panels produce most on summer days when demand is low and nothing at all on cold winter evenings when demand is highest. Worse than useless at grid scale.

What's Nigel Farage's problem with solar panels?

@AccSpaceCadet @BobMacTrack It’s called Scottish humour.

@JustinRose99 @Mastercard @MorganStanley @petermillar @Titleist @TitleistEurope @FootJoy @SuperStrokeGolf @LamkinGrips Congratulations Justin, great performance you never gave up. A professional performance as well I would suggest a very small part of you would have been routing for Tommy but as I said very professional well done. 👍

@Mofoman360 If criminality is proven then yes. Her crime like others is protecting the brand. Wish all of them would come clean . 1. When did they know ? 2. Why did they not right the wrongs. Lastly Fujitsu are guilty as well.

Do you think Paula Vennells and others should go to prison for their part in the post office scandal

@GBNEWS State pension is a burden because of the model. We mostly pay tax and NI thinking something is being set aside to pay for our pension, unfortunately the model is not the case. Our money is gone and we need the people behind to pay for our pension. I have 4 years to wait.

@bbctms @MichaelVaughan Fred Truman nailed it many years ago, keep the bowling team out until the 90 overs are bowled as long as batting conditions agree.

@ohitsmryyy_ @Jenny_1884 Retirement is the best job I have ever had. All good thanks.
English

@PCARSON62 @Jenny_1884 That’s truly impressive a full career in one place is rare these days! Starting as an apprentice and retiring after so many years of dedicated work shows real commitment and pride in what you did. You’ve earned that retirement hope you’re enjoying it!

@Sir_NickFaldo You were a good golfer , then chose to change your swing to make yourself a great golfer. My question is would Sir Nick Faldo the good golfer ever won a major ?
English

Reflecting on the lowest point in my career, it was undoubtedly the period I decided to change my swing. It was a long, lonely road—but it led to some of the greatest highs: starting with winning The Open in 1987, coming so close at the U.S. Open in ’88, winning my first Masters in '89 and culminating in a very special year in 1990 with that unforgettable moment at St Andrews.

@bmay Was sorry to see her lose her seat and disappear from front line politics. She is a great debater but then again so was William Hague. I expect she will be dropped into a safe seat and become the leader one day. I see her and Andy Burnam going head to head in the future.
