Was able to check off a bucket list #fish for Indiana yesterday, the Least Darter (Microperca microperca)! Also came across some healthy Central Mudminnows and Northern Starhead Topminnows. This spot is a goldmine for biodiversity and I will definitely be back!

You couldn’t PICK a better fish to help ring in the #Fishmas season on Day 16! The grass pickerel (Esox americanus vermiculatus) is the Tiny Tim of the pike family and a small but mighty addition to #25DaysofFishmas!
