@SayuriYuri20 Not sure the relationships with fuel subsidies and exchange rates. The dollar is slipping purely due to foreign outflow which is attributed to drop in tourism and high fuel prices. It didn’t help with govt’s poor policy decision on trying to impose tax on cars which backfired.

When we log into Twitter, our goal is to be propagandists for the JVP government of Sri Lanka. But my comrade @nomadic_sanjee has annihilated the opposition parties of Sri Lanka on Twitter. So we have lost that purpose. That is why we want to poke our noses into TN politics.

@LankanRealist @Neetwit I believe they are an improvement, but not convinced they are the most suitable option. It may be more constructive to work together toward establishing a capable government, rather than continuing to support those who bankrupted us.

@vidusenarathna No they won’t! People are more concerned about their hard earned tax money being pickpocketed. The growth of TN and Sri Lanka will accelerate if corruption is curtailed and these politicians need not do much as long as they just do their job.

Trident is not a company from the old coal scams. NPP itself brought in through a new tender. This is clearly a fresh governance failure. While there are questionable acts point to corruption (relaxation of rules), best we give the govt a chance to properly investigate

The President’s Secretary, acting on the President’s instructions, now wants their own CID to probe coal deals from 2009. Instead of addressing the current coal fiasco, already audited, they’ve chosen to dig into the past. A textbook case of tone deaf power.
