Promoting & observing handhygiene at individual leves offers a cheap but reliable avenue for the prevention of a wide range of infectious diseases . #PurposeHealth

Today, @MinofHealthUG launched the Malaria Elimination Strategic Plan (2025–2030), marking Uganda’s decisive shift from control to elimination. Malaria is not just a health issue; it is a development crisis. With bold, data-driven targets, zero malaria deaths, sharply reduced incidence, and districts moving to pre-elimination by 2030, the message is clear: the cost of inaction is far greater than the cost of ending malaria. Now is the moment for sustained leadership, smart investment, and collective action @KasondeMwinga #ZeroMalariaStartsWithMe #Malaria elimination

Speed doesn't only kill but compromises livelihood when providers die or get disabled. We have the power to reduce speed related injuries & deaths . Uganda 🇺🇬 recently passed speed regulations that includes a 30km/hr speed limit in key designated places (below,) With regulations & compliance ,we can do away with speed related injuries & death ,especially for the highly productive young population. It is OUR responsibility. #SpeedKills @grspartnership @BloombergDotOrg @RoadSafetyNGOs @MoWT_Uganda
