BOYS SOCCER: Saugus loses on a heart breaker to Pacifica (Oxnard) 2-1. After Centurions forward Daniel Nilsson bagged the game tying goal late in the second half, Pacifica snagged the game winner in extra time to win in the first round.

@hek293vax It’s called the Santa Clara River. And while Channel Islands Blvd, Victoria Ave, Gonzales Road, or Oxnard Blvd may get flooded, there won’t be rock or mudslides in the area being far away from the mountains.

There is a pretty large floodwater called the Santa Ana River that cuts through edge of town and Oxnard has terrible storm drainage system. Channel Islands Blvd will be under 2-3 feet of water by Wednesday night.
