@DrewPavlou Australian government policy is too have future generations live in cardboard boxes on the street. Property will concentrate to the wealthy. Enjoy the new Utopia.

“One Nation is for the billionaires, not battlers!!!!” Australian progressives - the Labor Party, Greens, Teals - raised my rent by at least $300-400 a week over the past few years by supporting infinity migration. They forced me to compete against hundreds of recently arrived new migrants to get a rental property in my own home town. They doubled house prices in Brisbane which made the dream of home ownership nearly impossible. I earn a full time median wage but on my current trajectory it will take 7 years to save enough to get a deposit on a small townhouse 40 minutes drive from the city. So I don’t give a rat’s arse that Gina Rinehart donated to Pauline. Who cares?

Heard some people like wheels?😁 Humanoid robots are the ideal form of general-purpose robots (perfect for general AI and human-derived data). They can work without wheels — but they can also have wheels if they want. Whatever works.

Greece announced that it will close 60 mosques across the country and deport those who continue to illegally build Islamic religious spaces. Greece is fighting against the Islamization of Europe. Do you support it? 🇬🇷

For the Canterbury Bulldogs, there is no way anyone can spin this any other way. They have only won 5 of their last 16 games. And if u look at when the Dogs started to lose... it coincided with the Sexton & Mahoney spine tinkering & their replacements.

FOX buys World Cup TV rights from FIFA for $480M deal. All 104 matches will be on FOX. YouTube reached a deal to broadcast first 10 minutes of every match to be streamed. Some full matches but limited. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s 50/50 or all on YT in 2030.

@NazionaleNews Well Conte will get bored with the whole thing after 2 years and probably walk away. And Allegri will probably bore the whole footballing world with his style of play.

Starbucks CEO defends a cup of coffee costing $9 He says the customers needs to just not think about it as a $9 cup of coffee, you’re paying for the “experience” of getting a Starbucks coffee “In some cases a $9 experience does feel like you're splurging, and then what that means is we have to make it worthwhile.” He says Starbucks customers “want to have a special experience and regardless of what your income level is, in some cases, a $9 experience does feel like you're splurging — well, this is a really affordable premium experience” How out of touch could a person possibly be…

@adamemedia1 China has 1.4 billion population. Alot of angry people if they loose jobs to AI and automation. Maybe they can see the crap happening in Western countries and don’t want that?.

CHINA JUST DREW A LINE ON AI A court in China has ruled it ILLEGAL to replace human workers with AI purely to cut costs. They have put responsibility back on corporations. They can’t automate just to boost margins while workers are pushed out. China has decided that wages, fairness, and employment aren’t optional. And that’s a big shift. While the west races to replace labour as fast as possible, viewing AI as a free-for-all… China has set a precedent that profit alone isn’t enough and corporations must answer to society.

When it comes to Nathan Clearys future at Penrith, the most pathway is very clear. The Panthers need to pay him what he is worth. That is closer to $3 million per season than $2 million per season. Pay him his market value, or lose him. #PantherPride #RugbyLeague #NRL

@keralista People around the world are voting with their eyeballs. And they are not watching Serie A. Serie A has some very serious problems. Been watching for 50 years. Alot of games are just a snore fest.

So when I speak about how far away Serie A is from other leagues, people tell me about how it is due to a lack of investments. Let me rewind and think from a neutral's perspective. Why would anybody want to pay actual money and watch a game which produces very less entertainment. I think what people must realise is how football has changed from a pure sport to being entertainment. The Premier League markets itself as an entertainment and something where people can come back from work on a weary Saturday evening and watch on tv and get entertained. Who will want to lose sleep at 12:15 am in the night to watch a game which has 1 big chances created all game ? So if the Italian lega want to earn more money it has to catch more eyeballs otherwise you will not see people paying more money to watch a slow product when better ones are available. The football purists will disagree with me and rage but I think this is how the game has evolved and will evolve.

🚨 INSANE - Dr. Steven Greer claimed in an interview with Alex Jones that, in the early 1980s, the U.S. military encountered alleged “time-traveling visitors” from around 500,000 years in the future, who said they were genetically linked to present-day humans. He also stated that he believes Amy Eskridge was likely killed.

The difference that exists between ‘Irish-Americans’ and the Irish shows that cultural nationalism is possible while Italian Americans affirm it through foreignness. Irish Americans are hardly any different from Anglo Americans in 2026 meanwhile their Ireland counterparts are a completely foreign group. This is because we used to beat the Irish out of them when they arrived. The Italians came after we adopted a more liberal social attitude towards culture and weren’t forced to assimilate, today an American Italian and an Italian are indistinguishable.

The math on a 24-hour day stopped working decades ago and most people just never run the numbers. 8 hours sleep. 8 hours work. That's 16, before anything else. Add the modern requirements that nobody counts. 1 hour of real exercise. 30 minutes of getting ready and showering. 30 to 90 minutes of commute. Cooking and eating three meals, or shopping and prepping for them, is 90 minutes minimum if you're being honest. Dishes, laundry, basic household upkeep, hygiene, packing tomorrow's bag is another hour. That's 5 to 6 hours of obligations the original framework never accounted for. Running total: 21 to 22 hours. With a 45-minute one-way commute and a real kitchen, you have under 90 minutes left. Inside that window you're supposed to read books, see friends, date, pursue hobbies, learn skills, watch the shows everyone references at work, and call your parents. The "eight hours labour, eight hours recreation, eight hours rest" framework comes from Robert Owen in 1817, written for a factory worker who walked to the mill, ate whatever was in front of him, and didn't lift weights. We kept his arithmetic and added 5 hours of modern obligations on top. The people who appear to "have it all" are doing one of five things: outsourcing domestic labor to a spouse or paid help, cutting sleep, cutting exercise, having no kids, or living in a 30-square-meter apartment with no maintenance burden. Usually multiple. The math is the same for everyone, the cuts are just hidden. The honest answer is you choose. Most people cut sleep and pay for it in cognition. Some cut exercise and pay for it in long-term health. The cultured ones cut the culture and read 5 books a year instead of 30. There is no version where you don't choose.
