The resolution on all actors to consider measures to enhance the full, effective, safe and meaningful participation and leadership of young people in peace processes and conflict prevention efforts at all levels.

On 12 December, the Security Council unanimously adopted resolution 2807 on 'Youth Peace and Security' which was co-authored by Guyana and Sierra Leone. The resolution reaffirms the positive role of youth, in conflict prevention, peacebuilding and sustaining peace.
