@CamVarner I wouldn't say it's darker; the difference is the lack of the John Williams score, and it being filmed in a more grounded way as opposed to the post-production of the films. Plus, it being 8 episode seasons will change the flow.

A freshman punter was called up to varsity team during the homecoming game and this happens. You can only imagine what the school was like on Monday for that young man.
