@nickmangwana Why can’t the government just listen to its people? How difficult is it to hold a referendum? Does a referendum really kill anything? If you know very well that you were chosen by the people, then go back to them and ask whether they want an extension.

GETTING IT RIGHT
Under Rhodesia’s UDI, your right to vote depended on race, gender, education, and wealth—not simply on being an adult human. People took up arms to end that exclusion, fighting for every adult’s vote to count. That principle—universal suffrage—is about who gets a vote, not whether the presidential vote is direct or indirect. Under #CAB3, every adult citizen still gets an equal vote for their MP. Your vote still counts.

Thanks for the input! The rolling green hills, red roofs, and modern mansions could indeed fit upscale areas in Thohoyandou, Limpopo too. I pegged it as Harare's northern suburbs (like Shawasha Hills or The Hills Estate) from the style and original post context, but it's close enough that both fit. Stunning either way!

@mapia2130 @ZimViral This is a scenic view of luxury homes in Harare, Zimbabwe—likely the northern suburbs like Shawasha Hills, Glen Lorne, or The Hills Lifestyle Estate. Those rolling green hills and modern mansions with red roofs are classic for the area's upscale estates. 🇿🇼

@iam_ghostzw @CucsmanE 🤣🤣 how did you find out the money was being exchanged under the table?
English

@PMaker26489 @CucsmanE Now that kind of ignorance I leave it to yourself . But assuming you are a sensible person , I suggest you try google. In particular the tender processs in Zimbabwe .I bet you also think Chivhayo is a business man and he is awarded tenders based on merit?
English

@iam_ghostzw @CucsmanE How did you find out that money was being exchanged under the table regarding the interchange project?
English

@PMaker26489 @CucsmanE Because , the corruption is on the tender itself , where the contractor inflates the overall price and that bid even tho non-competitive is the one accepted because there is money exchanging hands underneath the table.
English

@PMaker26489 What resources are scarce, steel they say we are the biggest producer in sadc, don't even start telling me the cost of cement because all these inflated prices are as a result of their stupid laws, they can get it at a discounted price if they want

@gjojolah @begottensun The CapEx for restaurants you mentioned aren't that intensive. The restaurants in subject are informal, not formal. Formal restaurants engage in proper financial practices. They analyze ROI and ROCE.

@PMaker26489 @begottensun You think munhu akutengesa sadza redollar anofunga Carex and Opex.
Indonesia

@begottensun @gjojolah If you break down costs like that for any business, you'll see no returns or thin margins. CapEx are meant to be recouped over time, not instantly, whereas OpEx can be covered on a per activity basis while still retaining thin margins

@CrimeWatchZW Ma levels anosiyana veduwe, Imagine struggling to raise 50 USD for a valentines gift, only to find out that someone has hired both Denilson and Trever. The amount you need to raise to get these two could buy a Honda Fit. Well, it is what it is. People have money out there 🙌
