@MCCCANM Often I had to go this way in a c-130 if we were carrying sensitive cargo to the region via Cyprus. Not uncommon to go this way, as countries don’t like lots of bang flying over their territory.

It’s not unusual for military jets, especially strike aircraft, to avoid European airspace. Especially France…they often wouldn’t even let unaccompanied tankers fly through. It would be more efficient, but requires diplomatic clearance. Other countries had restrictions, too.
OSINTtechnical@Osinttechnical

ADS-B data shows that USAF bombers conducting strike missions on Iran from England are completely avoiding continental European airspace.

Finally home after a long day collecting my *Cheap* Estate. So here it is: 2006 Jaguar X-Type Sovereign 3.0 V6 AWD Estate in Metallic Chilli Red with Oyster stitched leather interior. 3 owners from new and always has been an Essex car, thankfully has spent the least time on the coast, only the last 6 months-ish. 127,000 miles, Full & I mean FULL service history but is now due another on time, 1 & 1/2 service books full of stamps (over 10 years with the same garage) plus a folder full of invoices and the original order sheet (pictured). An amazing MOT history, two keys and a great specification including Sunroof, Xenon headlights, front parking sensors and the Alpine Sound System which was great back in the day. I took it on what must of been a 12 mile test drive and then it’s just done 110 miles home and not missed a beat. It’s not slow but also not that fast, not particularly economical and is the highest tax band but there’s something about that 3.0 V6 and the way it drives with the 60/40 split on the drivetrain - think I’m quite smitten already with the old man mobile if I’m honest👨‍🦳 Oh and for those who’re wondering, I paid the princely sum of £1500.00 for it which I’m quite happy with. Then due to it having a fuel tank the size of a thimble it cost £55 for 3/4 of tank of Esso Supreme+ E5 about 10 miles down after I picked it up ⛽️ **If** these ever become a cult classic, then this will be the one to have I’m sure 👌 But cue the “Mondeo in a frock” comments 🤨

Finally made a decision on a *cheap* estate for myself, let’s hope it’s as advertised and lives up to all of my research/history checks 🤞 Essex here I come 🌊

Footage shows a B-2 Spirit preparing for takeoff as engines power up and onboard systems come online. I’m utterly obsessed, this is pure engineering poetry.

@GlobeSentinels MQ-9 has been launched this last 4 nights on missile/drone intercept. Voyager aircraft are constantly up on refuelling missions supporting RAF and coalition assets. Akrotiri is a strategic operational base in the Middle East. Nothing sensational about what goes on there.

@EricTorrington @Tesco @BBCBreaking @cleanupbritain While I was waiting for my local Lidl store in Northern Ireland to open, one of the store staff was litter picking around the carpark. It seems they are tasked to do this daily before the store opens. Are you reading this Tesco?

Good morning @Tesco your CEO should be ashamed. A company that made £3 billion operating profit last year & volunteers are cleaning your hedges. You're failing in your Duty of Care under the EPA 1990 at many of your premises. Like more evidence? @BBCBreaking @cleanupbritain
