Sydney Lessentine was given a pretty wide outside zone yesterday against Georgia, looking back at data, there were a handful that should’ve been balls, but I’d much rather see an expanded zone like that than this, it’s a massive reason for offensive numbers.

Feel how you wanna feel, but I’ll be damned if this is a ball!! This is one of the best hitters if not the top hitter in the country you shouldn’t have to throw the ball over the heart of the plate to get a strike out. Umpires gotta be better.

Around #NCAASoftball: Maya Johnson's ERA is down to 0.50 after she threw her third no-hitter of the season, allowing just a lone walk in a 6-0 win over Drake.
Johnson is up to 251 strikeouts on the year - nobody else even has 200 (2nd is Ana Serafinko of St John's with 193)
