Ask Peter Obi today, whether Anambra was secure under his watch, he and his Obidients would attempt a brazen revisionism. But the internet never forgets. And Obiano, Obi’s successor, is still alive.

I thank God Almighty for this nomination and look forward to serving my fatherland and humanity. I am particularly grateful to the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for his visionary and exemplary leadership.
The President has taught me the meaning of forgiveness and has helped me better understand what patriotism entails. In short, Christlikeness is demonstrated in him. He is the right man, at the right time, for the right job, and deserves the right hand of fellowship from all Nigerians.
May God bless you, Mr President, and may Nigeria prosper as an indivisible entity with peace, prosperity, and progress under your able leadership.
I thank my parents, Esijolomi and Omerewumi, who moulded me, as a piece of clay they received from God, into what I am today.
May God bless Malam Nuhu Ribadu. Although I have said this publicly before, let me repeat it today. If it were possible for all the goodness on Earth to be domiciled in a single human being, that person would be Malam.
Finally, I thank my wife, Hana, my yene konjoo, who has been a pillar by my side and helped settle my mind for the three years that enemies of the President made me their foe because of my unalloyed support for the President and unrelenting loyalty to Nigeria.
May God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria!

@BashirAhmaad Terrorist himself.killing innocent souls because of false religion and a reapist prophet Muhammad.

English

So Gov. Alex Otti of Abia State has said that plans are in motion to secure the release of the convicted IPOB terrorist leader, Nnamdi Kanu. With this kind of open political backing, one can now better understand how IPOB/ESN managed to survive this long and continue unleashing terrorism in parts of Nigeria.

“We do not have any jihad in Nigeria, I'm speaking to you as a reverend father in the church. I'm speaking to you as a governor of a state. @felixherbt @NigeriaStories Influence isn’t about making noise on social media. Some work & act quietly. And just to remind you his walk against the killings of Christians was in 2020. We all know which administration was in charge then.
English

@BashiruAkanbi2 @fkeyamo @realDonaldTrump God bless you greatly and thanks for these summary "Let’s be clear: Nigeria’s problem isn’t religion. It’s failed leadership wrapped in religious narratives to mask incompetence".
English

Dear President Trump @realDonaldTrump ,
I am a lawyer of more than three decades of active practice, most of which was dedicated to activism in promotion and protection of human rights. In 2017, right there in Washington, I was found worthy to be awarded the Global Human Rights Award by the United States Global Leadership Council, which had the eminent Dr. Reuben Egolf as its Chairman at the time. This was in recognition of my work over the years in the promotion of the rights of the downtrodden people. I was also born and raised as a Christian in Nigeria.
There is, therefore, a need for me to add my little voice to the issue that has agitated your mind lately (with the hope it would be heard, even as a whimper): the purported ‘mass killings’ of Christians in Nigeria.
I was appointed by the present President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as his Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, along with other Christians. Because of my strong Christian background and ethical pedigree, it would have been most unconscionable for me to associate with - let alone accept to serve or continue to serve - a government if truly there is any scintilla of truth in the assertion that Christians are SPECIFICALLY targeted in Nigeria for persecution, killings or harassment ON ACCOUNT OF THEIR FAITH. It is simply not true.
Just like the U.S and many countries in the world, we have faced our own fair share of societal violence; ours has been perpetrated by deadly groups known as Boko Haram (now seriously decimated), herdsmen, and cattle rustlers. These decades-old problems were inherited by our President who has made great progress in the fight against these insurgents. In fact, most of the security Chiefs appointed by him are Christians, so it would be unthinkable to imagine them being complicit in the killing of fellow Christians in Nigeria.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of Nigeria, though a Muslim, is a known ‘moderate’, whose wife is a Pastor of one of the biggest Pentecostal Churches in Nigeria and most of his children are practising Christians. When he was Governor of Lagos State, he regularly invited Christian Pastors for prayers and worship sessions at the Government House. He will be the last person to either adopt the killing of Christians as a State Policy, or condone such acts or be complicit in them.
Nigeria is a secular State and our Constitution explicitly provides for freedom of religion and prohibits the adoption of a State religion, reflecting its status as a multi-faith nation. This legal framework underpins the country's diverse religious landscape, which includes significant populations of Muslims, Christians, and adherents of traditional African religions, coexisting within a nation’s space.
In all honesty, the insecurity in some parts of the country over the years has impacted adherents of all religions and this government has not sought to protect one set of adherents and ignore the others.
Ordinarily, opposition politicians will oppose the government of the day. But on this matter, President Trump, you would have observed that leaders of the opposition parties in Nigeria are united on one point: there is no TARGETED killing of Christians in Nigeria.
President Trump, the Nigerian people ask for deep and sincere understanding from your government at this point; the Nigerian people ask for support and cooperation from your government at this point to confront this decades-old menace of terrorism; we ask for collaboration; we ask for frank and open dialogue at this time with your government; we ask that you broaden your sources of information at this time so as to get a balanced view of the happenings in Nigeria.
Thank you.
God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria and
God bless the United States of America.

Peter Obi's Accusations Against President Tinubu: I Will Pay ₦20 Million To Any Person Who Can Do This
It is surprising that Peter Obi went to @JohnsHopkins University to accuse President Tinubu of deepening poverty in Nigeria. If anyone should be talking, it is not Peter Obi.
Fact-check me: Poverty increased at one of the fastest levels ever in Nigerian history in Anambra under Peter Obi as Governor.
And why? Because Peter Obi refused to invest in social infrastructure as Anambra Governor. Do not get me wrong. Anambra had the money, but Peter Obi lacked the will to build the badly needed infrastructure. The reason he refused to build these critical infrastructures is that he is a financial terrorist who deposited state funds in his own bank, where he was one of the largest shareholders and former Chairman.
Tens of millions of dollars—money that was earning interest for his bank—interest that was going into his pocket as a major shareholder.
Peter Obi did not want to remove the money from his bank, yet (and please fact-check me) seventy communities in Anambra did not have schools while he was Governor. Yet, this fellow was stashing Anambra State Government funds in his bank—money he later illegally siphoned out of Nigeria, for which the Pandora Papers of the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists indicted him.
My name is Reno Omokri, and I am prepared to pay any Obidient who can prove with factual documentary evidence that I lied about what Peter Obi did with Anambra State Government funds.

You and I both know that no terrorist would sit idly while being burned alive without fighting back, and we all know that those travelers were not bandits, if they had been the actual bandits, it would not have ended that way. Bandits are killers and do not move around unarmed. They are heavily armed with sophisticated weapons and are never afraid to use them, not even against our own soldiers, let alone a local vigilante group.
What happened in Uromi was a cowardly act of collective barbarism rooted in ignorance and hate.
If you cannot find it in you to demand justice for those murdered innocent travelers, then the least honorable thing you can do is remain silent. But to go further and try so hard to paint them as bandits is a grave injustice.

The news of the killings of Northern travellers in Uromi, Esan North-East Local Government Area of Edo State, is deeply saddening. Such killings have become a recurring tragedy in our decaying society. Acts of violence like these are abhorrent and had no place in our society yesterday, just as they should have no place in any decent society today. Every Nigerian, regardless of ethnic or regional background, has the right to move freely and safely within our nation.
Reports indicate that these individuals were accused of being kidnappers, leading to their brutal murder by a mob. While addressing security concerns and combating criminal activities is crucial, resorting to extrajudicial measures undermines the rule of law and exacerbates the cycle of violence. I commend the government for condemning this incident and initiating an investigation.
Furthermore, the authorities should also address the killings of Edo indigenes to ensure that justice is served for all.
This tragic event yesterday underscores the urgent need for enhanced security measures and increased public awareness to prevent such occurrences in the future. Communities must collaborate with law enforcement agencies to ensure that justice is pursued through legal channels rather than through unlawful actions.
I extend my deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims. Let us all work together to foster a society where peace, unity, and respect for human life prevail. -PO
