I haven't been this worried about the state of Liverpool Football Club for a long time and FSG, Michael Edwards and Richard Hughes could well have set us back a decade by keeping Arne Slot in charge. This is by far the worst Liverpool have been in a long time and I just don't see how two or three signings fix anything especially when the team have zero identity or style of play - It's horrendous, it really is horrendous. I have zero faith or belief in this manager whatsoever.

A low-key end to a dismal season for Liverpool, but getting out of it with Champions League football secured was all that mattered and they did that. Thoughts will now immediately turn to ensuring next season is so much better - it has to be.
