@kenda11fella Well done - did the half with my daughter and my word it was hot! Not a big fan of the hyper commercial approach though and will be sticking with fell races again in future (last ‘commercial’ event was Welsh Winter Trail Half pre-Covid!)

How my ultra started and finished. Race stopped due to extreme heat. I made 28 miles and 4600 feet of climbing. Waited at Pen Y Pas for Mrs B to pick me up. Still a good day though. #Heavymetalrunner #runner #fitnessmotivation #runningpunks

3 species of Orchid spotted in the hospital grass in the last 3 weeks! So excited to finally see a bee orchid and never thought I’d see my first in the grounds @WHHNHS - thank you to the estates team for adopting a no/low mow strategy and letting the biodiversity flourish ❤️

Today was a proud day in my NHS work. Dr Mike Povah was my resident doctor in 2017. Then again in 2024-25 my resident doctor when. Tonight he completed his penultimate night shift as an SpR and proud to say next time he doesn’t need to call my “boss” @WHHNHS @TimHortons
