I think for a couple of reasons: 1. They’re trying to meet women online instead. Online takes away some of the pressure or sting/embarrassment of rejection in person 2. I think some men think (and there is definitely a narrative of this) that women don’t want to be approached in person

@PRM83 True, but komodos are massive compared to badgers.

Even excluding the several absurd advantages the komodo dragon has, there's basically nothing the badger could do to it that would endanger its life in any way.

@ZBroocker I'm not sure the komodo would have much chance of landing a bite. Ever seen a carnivore vs. a lizard/snake? It's usually pretty grossly unfair in the carnivore's favor.

@PRM83 I mostly used the crocodile for a size/trophic comparison, but komodos have famously good stamina, and can give bursts of 12 mph. It is true that the badgers have INSANE venom resistance, but they would still be slowed by a bite.

@ZBroocker Crocodiles can ambush and surprise almost anything. A komodo dragon isn't a crocodile. It has a distinct speed and stamina disadvantage.

@PRM83 Crocodiles regularly kill them with no issue. There's a reason they aren't apex predators.

This is the last time I will address this, since I’m 99 percent sure I won’t get an apology, since I know the type of person Lexi is, and she’s not worth my time anymore: Having someone slander your name for attention is annoying. However, for the most part, I’m as annoyed if not more annoyed by her group of “friends” who constantly enable her behavior when she tells lie after lie. If she had real friends, they’d be telling her she needs to go get mental help, and tell her to get off Twitter for her own good. I am far from perfect, but I would like to think I would have the decency to learn my lesson the first time I did something like this, and genuinely apologize. This is the third time she has done something like this. If you’re actually someone in her circle, I hope you tell her to get help.

For slander (spoken) or libel (written, like on Twitter) to apply, the statement must be: False Presented as a factual claim, not just an insult Shared publicly (Twitter qualifies) Potentially harmful to reputation The phrase “she has no real friends” is usually seen as an insult or opinion. But “she needs mental help” is different. That can imply: A diagnosable mental condition Instability Unfitness for work, parenting, leadership, etc. Courts take statements about someone’s mental health more seriously because they can damage reputation in a concrete way. If the tweet suggests she’s mentally unstable or dangerous, that can absolutely be defamatory. GFY
