@Pretenemy @SirBeantwt i mean in kcd2 it didn't really matter. wasn't even really in the game that much really and not as pushed as other romances. surface level stuff almost. really the whole romance system in that game was pointless and hardly relevant.

In terms of actual critique, there's always going to be questions about an unestablished dev team but the combat looks promising and hopefully the game can keep getting more polished

@JinxShivers or just, experiencing high constant pain. like people with MS. it's not great stuff. highly addictive. and like all these meds they wear off more and more and suddenly you want to take more too to compensate. made people i know not very friendly when you try to control dosage.

@Pretenemy @SirBeantwt not sure about the far left stuff. kcd 2 wasn't really far left. and fair enough for the criticism good point. here is hoping the devs actually try to change the face to be less generic handsome. makes me worry that it's just riding off kcd and will be generic in writing too.

@Pretenemy @SirBeantwt What are you on about. The complaint is that this character looks like a generic fantasy protagonist despite advertising the same kinda experience KCD does. The boy to man thing doesn't work if you look like a destined chiselled god rather than a normal man like Henry does.

You play as Hugh, a soldier stranded on a ruined lunar research station and your job is protecting the child-like android Diana while fighting rogue AI to get home. In one emotional moment, she gives him a crayon drawing of the two of them together as a little family. Even streamers who say at the start that they don’t like kids end up breaking down in happy tears. Many are openly admitting it made them want children of their own.

@beefy5layer0803 @Maxylobes Well flipping assets from a completely different RE when you are supposed to be remaking re4og is not a good look, but standard in the industry. And for the linearity is pretty simple and explained. The game is dragging it's tempo in multiple segment (the lake etc)

My take on the crowbcat video is a bit nuanced because, unlike him, I have almost 3000 hours combined in RE4 OG and Remake. I find his video sad because he lacks deeper knowledge of both the mechanics he praises, and the ones he hates. *shrug*
