In marriage, there are two leaders. The husband and the wife. The husband leads from the front and the wife leads from behind. When the man leads from the front, he becomes the head of the home. When the woman leads from behind, she becomes the neck of the home. The head will not stand without the neck. And will not survive too. The neck determines the direction of the head. But the head must signal to the neck which way to turn. Because the head is where the brain resides. And the brain determines what the neck does. If the brain is malfunctioning, it would give the neck the wrong signals. So do not expect the neck to take full responsibility for the neck's failure. End.

I'll try to be as brief as I can. 1/1 Honestly, it’s not as mysterious as it looks. The same way people get good at anything in life is the same way people get to the point where they can quote the Bible and remember the exact chapter and verse. A big part of it is consistency, and what science calls neuroplasticity. So, let me explain. Neuroplasticity simply means the brain changes and grows based on what you keep doing again and again. The more you repeat something, the more that part of your brain becomes stronger and easier to access. It’s the same thing that happens when someone learns, let's say the guitar or piano. At first you don’t remember the strings or the keys. But with time, the brain starts to build a stronger representation of those movements in your brain's cortex. The more you practice, the larger and stronger that representation becomes, and that is why later you can play without thinking too much. We see the same principle when we treat stroke patients in the hospital (I'm a physiotherapist, so I had to Slide this in 😉). When someone has a stroke, part of the brain may be damaged, but through repeated practice, the brain can form new pathways in the brain that will help that person pick up the lost functions again. That is neuroplasticity at work. The brain keeps adjusting based on what it is forced to use. In fact, it's why you'll notice that when someone loses one of their senses, one or two of their remaining senses gets stronger. For instance, someone who goes blind might have a stronger sense of smell after some time. Scripture memory works in the same way. When you read the Bible every day, quote it often, listen to sermons, or study chapters again and again, your brain starts to build strong memory paths for those texts. Over time, the chapter and verse begin to come naturally and honestly, it's not because something magical suddenly happened, but because that part of the brain has been exercised for years. Of course, faith still matters. Many Christians will say the Holy Spirit helps them understand and remember the Word, and that belief itself can also make someone more committed and consistent. But the actual ability to recall verses quickly is also how the human brain works. The more you use it in one direction, the stronger that direction becomes. It’s the same reason some people remember football stats, some remember song lyrics, some remember textbooks, and some remember scripture. Consistency will build the brain in the direction you push it to and that’s neuroplasticity. You're welcome.
Big Favour, not the small one💞@ajagbe_favour

I have a question for Christian Twitter😌 How did you grow to the stage where you can quote the Bible and still remember the exact chapter and verse?

@jon_d_doe Factors that influence male fertility more than age Sometimes lifestyle matters more than age: Smoking Alcohol/drug use Obesity Poor diet Heat exposure (tight underwear, frequent hot baths) Chronic diseases (diabetes, hypertension) Certain medications

@jon_d_doe Important perspective Unlike female fertility (which drops sharply after about 35), male fertility declines slowly. Many men in their 40s and 50s father healthy children naturally.
