@Esther_Dabira It baffles me when people do that. Why come to church if you cannot stay focused? People often forget that these things are also part of worshipping God.

@OGreat6 Hardly any Sunday goes by without me taking a late morning or afternoon nap. In fact, I’m about to take one now. On weekdays, it depends on how the day’s schedule unfolds. Saturdays are 50/50.

I told my cousin I would help him move into his new apartment by 8 a.m., but I completely forgot and went back to sleep after turning off my alarm.
Around 9:30am, I woke up to loud music outside the gate. At first, I thought it was one of those street vendors passing by. Then I heard someone shouting my name through a megaphone.
I rushed outside looking confused, and there he was sitting in the back of a moving truck with all his bags and two angry-looking friends beside him.
This guy borrowed a megaphone from a church nearby just to wake me up because I wasn’t answering my calls.
The moment he saw me, he pointed at me dramatically and shouted, "Ladies and gentlemen, meet the man who abandoned us during migration."

@Nefisah001 This one is really hard. I understand your suspicion, especially since they were not with you. Anyone would feel that way. Maybe also check what they were fed or exposed to, just in case. Something about how it all happened still needs answers. The vet outcome is still puzzling.

I remember a case I witnessed at the Magistrate's Court, Abeokuta
This woman took the children and petitioned the court for sole custody
She lied that she had been the only one responsible for the care of the children
The husband arrived in court with receipts
250,000 monthly as stipends for the wife's mother
100,000 monthly as stipends for the wife's younger brother, plus payment of the young man's university fees
500,000 naira monthly upkeep for wife
Maintenance of the wife's car
Monthly salary for wife's driver
Shopping receipts for food, grocery and clothings for wife and children
Receipt of vacation and other trips
The judge looked at the woman and said, "Madam, you are a liar and an ingrate. You have misled this court and lied to deny this man access to his children.
Please release his children to him immediately; you have no right to take them.
They are the best cared-for children whose cases have come across my table since I became a judge.
The wife began to cry, she said, "It was my lawyer who counselled me to say all that in the petition. He said if i don't say all that, I will not be allowed to have custody of my children. I am sorry."
Sometimes it is what the lawyer advised the woman to do that she did in order to have custody of the children.

"women, children and pets are loved unconditionally but a man is only loved under the condition he provides something" So without receipts, people would have just believed he was an irresponsible father?

The last one I worked at (Tueh!)
I was being paid 150k while the Indians were being paid $1500. They had free housing, transport allowance and they get paid for overtime. I was the supervisor mind you, I come before them, I monitor their clock in and out, I manage their productivity, they can’t go on break without signing out from me. I mean I saw the joke and it was me. Although the guys were really nice and would always offer to buy me gifts I often reject, I just wish they’d bathe every once in a while.

The question is this: without Dangote Cement, would Nigeria(s) have scaled local cement production? Why didn't anyone before Dangote do it? Why didn't WAPCO scale to what Dangote is today?
Same question with the refineries? Why no one before him? why could NNPC or the private citizens build a $5b refinery, (Forget $20b for now). I wonder what would have happened if Dangote and Otedola had bought the NNPC refineries years ago.
Now he wants to go into power, watch how he will scale it. He said he wanted to do steel, but declined because he did not want to be a monopolist.
It's easy to pick on Dangote, who is doing big things. There are Nigerians more liquid in FX than Dangote; their cash is sitting in a bank in a tax haven, even Keke, they have not invested in 234.
You want cheaper imports? great, that's also exporting Nigerian jobs offshore right?
Faith without FDI is dead.

Let’s set the record straight:
“Reports claiming that Femi Otedola funded the Dangote Petroleum Refinery are completely and utterly false. He has not invested a single kobo, not one dollar, not one naira. The real story, which those peddling these lies conveniently ignore, is that Mr. Otedola has actually been requesting a special allocation to participate in the refinery’s forthcoming public offer.”
I can categorically state that at no point did Alhaji Dangote request for financing from Mr Elumelu, Mr Adenuga and myself . The Dangote Group is a well-structured organisation that is well vast in raising structured capital for its operations. This is calculated mischief and a deliberate attempt to create rifts and sow discord within Nigeria’s closely knit and respected private sector leadership. These are men who have built businesses, created jobs, and invested in this nation for decades. They deserve better than to be used as props in a social media fabrication.
To those behind this: desist immediately.. And to everyone else, social media is not a tool for manufactured drama. Nigeria deserves truth, not lies dressed up as insider information!
