Senate Democrats just blocked the bipartisan National Defense Authorization Act – the bill that authorizes the funding for our military, strengthens our national defense, and has passed with bipartisan support for 65 straight years. Playing politics with the resources our warfighters rely on is indefensible. This bill also includes a pay raise for our service members, along with critical investments in education, housing, healthcare, and childcare for military families. Our troops deserve better. The American people deserve better.

Minority Leader Jeffries opposes the Massie-Khanna amendment to cut $3 billion of aid to Israel, but leaves members of his party to vote their conscience. My conscience is clear. I will vote against using American tax dollars to fund genocide.
