Lucky escape- American modernism saved. I know it’s nothing new & that leaders the world over have done it before-but it doesn’t seem right that one president can dictate public architectural & artistic output. Strange notion of freedom & democracy.

The post war designed landscape is part of this story.They provide so much to support our lives.But always room2examine further how they can help us in our response to climate emergency from grounds maintenance techniques to heritage sensitive repurposing. Hold onto that carbon!

Truslove House was designed by @RoseStjernstedt the first woman architect to be awarded #Grade1 status at @LCCAD & now her building is going to be demolished by @lambeth_council... Any thoughts @RIBA @nationaltrust @HistoricEngland @SAVEBrit @C20Society @docomomo_uk @WomenInArch?
