Really curious if we're going to get Halo 2 Remake or Halo 3 remake. I do like the idea of Halo studios taking the Resident evil route. Just hope Halo 7 come soon! XD.

Been a while since I've done a ranking of the Halo novels. To be clear, everything here is definitely worth at least one read through, some are just maybe not worth reading again, at least for a long while. Happy to answer any questions below

@PWOFalcon For real lol I will say, I'd really like to see more from Kodiak and the Elite characters. They're all interesting, it's a real shame they're stuck in that book lol

@autobot117 I give you that, I did like how it was written and it captured Buck great. All my issues have nothing to do with Buck. He was written well. If the 1st was a stand alone, it would be better.

@PWOFalcon I'm very mixed on them tbh. I adore how both are written, especially New Blood, because it really feels like Buck telling the story in a way that most books don't manage to capture for the characters. I don't mind them splitting as much, and I actually think the Rookie's death...

@evolved117 And they still did nothing with him I think Palmer would of been better, I get the joke they were trying to do. She literally had no presence after her "joke", so it made her look like a bitch, not qurkie

@InfiniteGrunt I don't think you will ever recapture 2001 atmosphere. Its not 2001. As of now, I think they done a pretty good job taking what was there and modernize it (unlike HCEA). It looks more natural and I can accept the change.

The original atmosphere is basically non-existent, however, I still really like what they’ve done with it and it’s quite gorgeous

@PWOFalcon Yeah I miss the Brute Shot too. Was actually a fun weapon to use especially when messing around in campaign to explore, etc

Haven't seen much talk about this yet but the Brute Plasma Rifle has once again made a return to Halo (along with the standard Plasma Rifle too)! I like the updated look and it's pretty decent to use as well. #Halo

@EzeL3199 @Mr_Rebs_ I agree. It is a remake, why not fix/add things like that. I also agree ut isn't her because she dies. I can see they want her to live just in case people like her (unlike Palmer).

@Mr_Rebs_ Definitely a new character with Tiger company. As much as I would have loved it to be McKay...there's been no evidence of ODSTs in the OG campaign (HUGE missed opportunity if thats the case)

@Mr_Rebs_ I think she is a new character. Fresh start. Someone that lives past CE, so if people like her, she can come back in future games. If not, she can be easily dropped.

@_EmpressCortana I will add, Bungie best work was under Microsoft. Idk if things would be better today, but some of the best games in history were released under that relationship.
