Yesterday the Prime Minister of Italy said her government is prepared to use extraordinary measures against Spain, and named suspending the Schengen area as one of them
Three weeks apart. Two completely unrelated disputes. Two governments with nothing to do with each other
And both landed on exactly the same thing: the freedom of movement of ordinary Spaniards, who were not consulted, are not represented in either conversation, and will simply be informed of the result

@PYLibertarian @itsjacksworld You haven't been to Santa Cruz? I have lived in Asuncion for the last year and a half. I have been in Santa Cruz for the last month. It is nice here. Windy, but nice. You should check it out. You will be suprised. The food is really good too.

Bolivia real estate is on a fire sale.
The local currency, the boliviano, has been at 9.50 against the dollar for the last 6 months. It just went to 11.90, increasing over the last 30 days.
Most real estate inventory here is priced in bolivianos. So if you're holding dollars, everything just got 20% cheaper.
And every developer here takes payment to a US bank account. You don't need to figure out Bolivian banking to buy, and foreigners can own with no restrictions.
I'm taking advantage of the rate and closing on a brand new luxury apartment in Santa Cruz next week.
Equipetrol is the premium neighborhood in the city, and the new buildings going up are actual luxury. Rooftop pools, pro gyms, dry and steam saunas, coworking, game lounges, 24/7 security.
At today's rate, new studios start around $48K. 1BRs around $58K. A 100m² (1,075 sq ft) 2BR/2BA on a top floor runs about $120K, depending on builder and location.
On the city itself: Santa Cruz has a population of 3.1 million and is the 14th fastest growing city in the world. It represents 35% of Bolivia's GDP.
And the country just turned a corner. New government. 3 credit rating upgrades this year from Fitch, Moody's, and S&P. Dollar bonds up roughly 50%. Currency floated for the first time in 15 years. And the government literally just secured an IMF loan for $2 billion yesterday.
Santa Cruz simply has the lowest and easiest entry point to luxury real estate in South America, in an ultra-convenient, tropical, safe, and very fast growing environment.
I have direct lines to the sales offices of the best developers in the city. No real estate agents needed. DM me if you want to see what's available, and I'll show you the apartment I'm closing on next week.

Paraguay 🇵🇾 is the strangest country in Latin America and I mean that as a compliment
Things most people don't know:
- It's the only country in the Americas where the majority speaks an indigenous language. Guaraní, not just as a symbol but as a daily language
White Paraguayans speak it. Lawyers speak it. The president speaks it
- People switch between Spanish and Guaraní mid-sentence and don't even notice they're doing it
- The country lost most of its adult male population in a war against three countries at once, and rebuilt anyway
- It's landlocked, ignored, and hands down one of the easiest places in the world to build a life from scratch
Everyone talks about Argentina, Brazil, Colombia...
Nobody talks about the country in the middle that's still true to its roots

As pequenas coisas de por que eu me mudei pro Paraguai:
8:30 da manhã de segunda-feira, tem uma harpista tocando no aeroporto.
O Paraguai ainda é um pouco mais pobre que o Brasil. Em 2-3 anos vai empatar, passar, e começar a pegar distância.
Mas é muito mais civilizado.
Riqueza é fácil de construir. Liberdade econômica, atrair investimento, e esperar.
Agora construir um comportamento de gente civilizada? Isso é BEM mais difícil.
É um povo educado, cordial. Só uns 5% da população é de esquerda. Não tem hihi levei vantagi. Não tem centro tomado por drogado e vagabundo.
Pedintes são raros, e geralmente imigrantes. O povo aqui não tem tolerância pra vagabundagem. Vai trabalhar. O desemprego é 3,5%, não trabalha quem não quer.
Sabe a cena classica de bolo da prefeitura sendo destroçado? Você não vai ver esse comportamento aqui.
Não tem reggeton, pancadão. Não tem influencer com boca de pato. Não tem coitadismo com bandido.
Não estão tentando impressionar você ou viver de aparências. Cuide da sua vida, e eu cuido da minha.
Wokismo? Todo mundo entende que é coisa de maluco degenerado. Eles tem apego a tradição, família e a sua história.
Odeiam imposto, político e governo 3 vezes mais que brasileiro. E olhe que pagam menos de metade do imposto que um brasileiro paga.
Não são um povo perfeito. Mas são um povo muito, muito melhor que o brasileiro médio.

Staff knew their stuff. Clean facility (although pretty humble) All those horror stories you read online about healthcare here? Yeah... I'm starting to think most people just repeat what they hear instead of actually living it Paraguay keeps surprising me P.S: love the crucifixes everywhere here
